About this mod

This mod adds permanent versions of vanilla flesh spells. On cast they increase caster's armor rating by their vanilla counter-part and they reduce caster's magicka by their vanilla counter-part's cost. On recast the spell dispels and magicka turns back to normal value.

Changelogs
Overview
  • This mod adds 5 new spells to the game which are permanent versions of vanilla flesh spells.
  • They permanently reduce the caster's magicka (in order to infinitely sustain the spell).
  • Mod automatically adds the Lasting versions of already-learnt vanilla spells (ex. If Player already knows the Oakflesh spell then mod adds the Lasting Oakflesh spell at the first load).
  • Has built-in compatibility with the FleshFX mod which I highly recommend.
  • ESL-Flagged.

Requirements

  • SKSE - Hard requirement

Compatibility

  • Should be compatible with both AE and SE versions of the game.
  • FleshFX is compatible.
  • Perk Overhauls that doesn't change the FormID of the Mage Armor Perk are compatible (like Ordinator).
  • Any magic overhaul that doesn't change the FormID of the vanilla flesh spells should be compatible (I only have Odin which doesn't change so it's compatible, I don't know any other magic mods though).
  • Compatibility patch for Mysticism available as an optional file.
Some Details

  • Spells will have zero cost but their Reduce Magicka comes from vanilla spell's effective cost (Oakflesh's base cost is 103 so Lasting Oakflesh spell will reduce 103 magicka, but if you have a perk or any other effect that effects Oakflesh's cost it is going to effect Lasting version as well. If Oakflesh costs 50 magicka to cast so will Lasting Oakflesh.).

  • When recast spells will dispel the Mage Armor and Reduced Magicka Effects (If you have Lasting Oakflesh active and you cast Lasting Stoneflesh then the spell won't do anything, instead it will dispel the Lasting Oakflesh effect, then if you cast it again, it will cast Lasting Stoneflesh).
  • If you cast a normal flesh then it will overwrite the Armor Rating value but the Reduced Magicka effect will stay. When the duration ends Lasting effect will come back.
Future Plans?
  • If there are any I might try to add Compatibility patches
