After the release of the first SmoothCam preset, just like my Vanilla ENB 2, I set out to start from scratch and perfect it. I spent over a year studying cameras in many 3rd person action games, finding what works best for both gameplay while feeling cinematic. I took this knowledge and began balancing SmoothCam to accommodate a enhanced vanilla feel, with modern tweaks and quality of life adjustments.
- As Seen Above: Mappable Custom Close Camera - Perfect for interiors or tight spaces. Finally a quick and coinvent solution to use a 3rd person camera in a game designed for 1st person. By default this is set to right stick on a gamepad - use MCM to customize.
- Minimal Interpolation - No loose free roaming around your camera. Locked and steady just like the vanilla game. This is Skyrim not Dark Souls!
- Cinematic FOV - Subtle shifts to the field a view for a smoother sense in character movement
- Smooth Archery and Magic cameras that allow you to see your target, with ray casted projectile HUD on by default
- Balanced for Both 16x9 and 21x9 monitor aspect ratios
