It has come to my attention that since patch 1.6.1130 there appear to be significant change to vanilla controlmap.txt's structure, rendering this mod no longer compatible with newer version of Skyrim SE/AE from Dec-2023 and onwards. Fortunately there already exist many superiors alternative controlmap mod such as this, I implore players to seek and support them.
This mod shall stay public for servicing players on older version of Skyrim SE/AE should they need it. Maintenance of this mod will be put on hiatus, hopefully until I can sort out mod incompatibility conflicts and ensure stability of the game on whatever patch Beth had or gonna throws at us.

These control maps hard-code User Interfaces navigation keys - they will always remain the same as vanilla control scheme while allowing you to remap gameplay control keys separately - same as the control behavior uses by majority of other games
Unbound d-pad
You can choose either Up or Down d-pad key for bringing up Favorite menu, the rest are unbound for all your custom hotkey binding needs
Since it's just a txt file, it's compatible with LE, SE and AE
Known caveat: on-screen prompts do not match remapped gameplay keybinding
Suggested workaround: hide all control prompts - cleaner UI, less confusion
(P/S: there are some newly released HUD/UI enhancement/addition mods that's able to circumvent or immune to the caveat mentioned above)
