There are currently two versions of the mod, the present "Complete" edition and the "Patch Pack" available at the link in the name.
"Complete Edition" was created first for those of us that have bought the Anniversary Edition Upgrade and downloaded all the Creation Club Content. So, up until recently this version included all of the weights of all the CCC content. As of v2.0, the installer allows you to determine if you want to use all of the Creation Club Content, just the 4 Free CCC mods included in the Special Edition updates, or just the base Special Edition game files with only the DLCs. There are plans to make the plugin more granular over time so that you will be able to specify which specific CCC mods are enabled currently upon install. But, that will take more take and I will need to continue working on this as time permits.
"Incomplete Edition" was added after the initial release, when I had a few special edition players reach out to me saying that they would also like to take advantage of this mod, but didn't have the Creation Club content. In response, I created a version that only used the base game, DLCs and the 4 free pre-installed CC content: Fishing, Saints & Sinners, Rare Curios, and Survival Mode. This variation, as of v2.0, was removed from the downloads due to the fact that the installer now provides a checkbox for you to select one of the following: No CCC, Free CCC, or Anniversary CCC.
"Patch Pack" was created in v2.0 as a means to allow me to organize my mods more easily than I was doing before. It will contain all of the patches for third party mods that I have been able to create a patch for. If you have requests for patches please click here to go to the Patch Pack to request it be added to my pending review list!
The current version is v2.0.0 and below are the changelogs for it:
The mod has been restructured to allow for the user to pick whether they are using base game with no CCC, only the Special Edition with 4 free CCC, or all Anniversary CCC.
Requests for patches will now be redirected to the Patch Pack, to allow separate development of that mod so that we can keep it all straight and help speed development times by narrowing the scope of each mod. :)
How to Report a Bug in Comments:
In order for me to fully investigate any bugs that you experiencing, e.g. leather strips still have weight when they should not, I need you to tell me the following information:
If MO2, did you click "Sort" on the plugins tab to use LOOT to sort your mods?
Which plugins do you think is causing you the issue?
Did you select "Install All" or "Select Specific"?
If "Select Specific," which modules did you activate: Alchemy, Ammunition, Books, Ingestible, Misc. Items, Scrolls, Smithing, Soul Gems?
Did you install any mod patches using the Patch Pack? And, if so, which ones: USSEP, WACCF, CCOR, CACO?
Please provide, if possible, contents of your "loadorder.txt" and "plugins.txt" so that I can see what is loading when. You can optionally use either https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ to share these.
You can find the files in either: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt Or, in the case of ModOrganizer2: [MO2 Instance Location]\Skyrim Special Edition\profiles\Default\plugins.txt The contents of these two files help A LOT in debugging overwriting issues! :D All of this information, if you're willing to provide it, will help me track down if I missed an entry when creating the different patches, etc.
Thank you so much for being such amazing supporters over the year and I hope that you enjoy this version of the mod(s)!
Version 2.0.1 is out now! In v2.0.0, I have spun the patches out into their own mod, the Weightless Anniversary Overhaul - Patch Pack, so that I can focus on what is important for both of them. After v2.0.0, the Complete Edition will likely see a slower release cycle focusing on mostly bug fixes and keeping the core mod up to date with whatever Bethesda is planning to do with Skyrim moving forward. I will also be investigating the feasibility of being able to select creation content by item. :)
Release Notes
v2.0.1
Corrected some issues with some food in Survival Mode not giving the proper attributes. I added them back into the mod due to them being missed.
As usual, please let me know right away of any issues you experience!
0.05 is a number. 0.05 is a unit of weight. Things will spawn if they weigh 0.05, too. Almost all the lack-of-spawning issues are because weight should be taken into concern but isn't because they are obsessed with weight 0 again.
Just drop the "t" and profit because all your crap being 0.05 makes them WeighLess.
Hugely useful mod. Description mentions patch requests, so could I add a patch for Health Food? Its small and lightweight, preferable for me over a big overhaul.
Hello! If you have the time to look into my problems here. I found some CCOR materials (not in vanilla) still have weight. Firstly I Installed your mod mid-save, figured it would not be a big problem.
Selected all categories Load order overview: USSEP,WACCF CCOR → Kryptopyr's Patch with CCOR patch → Val's meltdown mod that only changes melting recipies → your weightless anniversary mod with CCOR patch
I apologize for the late reply, I have been working for a supplier for Toyota and my job got really busy with the launch of the new models coming out.
Hmm, let me see if those two other mods might be overwriting something. I think it might be the meltdown mod or the Kryptopyr's patch, since it may be using the defaults or cloning entries, etc.
I will let you know once I find it! Thanks for letting me know about this.
I think it may be one of those two you mentioned. Their patches may override mine? I have them on my Pending Review list at the Weightless Anniversary Overhaul - Patch Pack, so that I can get this taken care of.
I am in the middle of spinning off the patches into an easier to manage called `Weightless Anniversary Overhaul - Patch Pack` which will allow me to manage things on this one better since they will be separated. Of course this will mean that development on the main mod will slow to the pace of skyrim patches (too many lately in all honesty!). The patch pack will slowly grow as I add various support patches for different mods. But yes, once I am done with verifying everything in the current supported mods, I will start looking at others right after that!
No, you can use the base game, for all I care. I also added the Free CCC and Anniversary CCC. You can definitely use just this mod by itself. And, in v2.0 (I am working on this right now at https://twitch.tv/TheMysticSith) it will be even more modular than it is now! :D I added the compatibility for other mods which are optional requirements if you read it, which I am not moving into the Weightless Anniversary Overhaul - Patch Pack mod.
The following alchemy ingredients still have weights following the most recent update:
Blisterwort Blue butterfly wing Chaurus hunter antennae Glowing mushroom Hagraven claw Sabrecat tooth Snowberries Spawn ash Spriggan sap
There could be more but these are the only ones I noticed. I'm using the incomplete edition and selectively activated the correct parts. I'm only using USSEP.
Thanks, I may have missed some in my patch when I was doing some cleaning up earlier. I will get on this as soon as I can. Should have a new version released before end of weekend.
Update: Cave troll pelt also has weight even when I have all modules enabled. Nevermind. I thought the item was a part of the creation club stuff but I realized it comes from another mod.
If you would like a patch, just list it here and we can see what we can do. I am looking through this today, was a busy weekend. I got married last week so the wife ended up pulling me out of the house to celebrate lol.
So, I went ahead and added Bruma to the next version. That's going to be some work. I was in middle of working on it when my system crashed. Something to do with my drivers (I was using virtual monitors so my fault really). I will work on this this weekend and try to figure out why you're having the overwrites for the above items. Are you any chance using Bruma in your load out?
All of the above items are indeed being overwritten, as long as you have WAO far enough down the load order for it to actually overwrite the entries. The loot order should have done this, so unless you have something else that is conflicting with my mod and being loaded afterwards, then I don't know how to resolve this for you. Try moving the modules and their patches further down in your load order? Let me know if that helps!
Helpful Tip: WAO should be after all of the mods that I have patches for. The patches should be after my primary modules.
Hello , I would like to upload a Chinese translation file. Can I get your permission? Sorry, I have already uploaded it. If you don't agree, I will delete it immediately.
Thank you, I have mentioned you in the MOD requirements and in the acknowledgements at the end of the article. Thanks again for freeing up my backpack space with your MOD!
You're quite welcome, I am glad that I could share this with you. I also apologize for the slow response these days. It's been quite hectic and I have had limited time to work on this.
A lot of stuff remains weighted in my game... like metal and skins. I do have other mods installed: - Ars Metallica - Hunterborn MCM - Keep It Clean - Additional Hearthfire Dolls - Beyond Bruma - Tundra Berries Maybe need patches?
EDIT: Okay, so it seems the arrangement of the mod, the patches, and the position in the load list matters. I put everything at the bottom and now my metals and most of my pelts are weightless. Also, don't run them through Wrye Bash. Definitely need a patch for Bruma, Additional Hearthfire Dolls, Tundra Berries and Hunterborn though.
Hi, First of all, thanks for this mod! I was wondering if the cooking ingredients of CACO (all the meat found on creatures and so on) should be weightless as well with the CACO patch? If so, there's an error on my side, as they still are pretty heavy.
I got a few patches for CACO (Bruma and the likes) so it may be possible that they overwrite some changes. But before i go through every single entry in SSEEdit and put the weight to 0 (wightless patch script doesn't work for AE apparently) I thought I'd ask here.
Yep, that did the trick ! Now I feel dumb for not trying the obvious approach first :D Works for everything besides some crafted potions (mostly "Quality XX" ones) Thank you very much !
If you let me know the names of the mods, I can create a patches installer for those ones. I am thinking of creating an AIO installer for any patches that will be needed that I don't actively support with my main installers, etc.
