Special thanks to all my Patrons and supporters, you are awesome!

Texture and mesh replacer with new created 3D Lock for all Display Cases in game.

You can choose between 4K/2K, Dark Wood/Light Wood, Smooth Glass/Rippled Glass.
An optional BOS version is available too, but i explain everything in detail further down :)

It also includes a optional patch for Security Overhaul SKSE - Lock Variations

The vanilla problem:

Lighting behaves differently between interior and exterior cells. This affects the way objects react to it. Regarding the cases,
it´s the same. And since the base game uses the same meshes everywhere, vanilla and modded games can make the cases
look drastically different based on where they are located.

There is no simple way of getting all display cases looking good at once.

Some attempts have been made in the past to address the problem, but the aforementioned issue will persist either outdoors or indoors.

The Solution(s):

Two different versions of this mod are available in the FOMOD installer.

 1. The Default replacer (compromise), which has no further requirements. The meshes of this version have been adjusted
to find the best balance between exterior and interior locations. Note that to be able to prevent the extreme glow
in the sun, i had to cut down some mesh shaders, this will make glass in interiors less visible.

2. The BOS version (the actual solution), which requires the mod Base Object Swapper by powerofthree. In this version i
created multiple sets of meshes, one for each situation (outdoor/indoor). All exterior cases, will be swapped on the fly
with their custom version via BOS. This way you'll end up with good and consistent looking cases in all scenarios.

The ESPFE plugin and configuration file for the BOS support, have been created by TobesTobelle.

The look will be affected by your choice of ENB and weather/lighting mod combination.

The Fixes

All meshes have been heavily UV-tweaked to get rid of seams etc.
I also fixed a ton of bugs on the various meshes (see images for some examples).

- Fixed stripes on glass, that were caused by a stretched UV
- Several mesh partitions to get rid of metal brackets being used and wrapped around parts of the case
- Corrected the position of all bolts on the lids
- Reshaped the hinges
- Added environment mapping with a glass cubemap
- Adjusted shader settings to receive proper lighting

I created this mod to compliment my recently released mods Rally's Market Stalls, Rally's CratesRally's Barrels and Rally's Handcarts.

Download with your preferred mod manager, install and overwrite when promted

Disable/uninstall the mod from your manager or remove the files from your Skyrim directory

Since this replacer has a tons of UV edits and new textures, it has to be loaded after conflicting mods.

My textures are fully compatible with Destructable Display Cases, but it comes with own meshes for destructed
cases which will be used until the mod resets them.

Compatible with Do As You Say Redux

Patch for Security Overhaul SKSE - Lock Variations included

Regarding patches: If you stumble upon exterior display cases, which have been added by mods and are referencing vanilla records, you can add them to the swapping list by doing this:

- get the FormID of the case in game with console
- then add that ID to the RallyDisplayCases_SWAP.ini file

2 different meshes are used for outdoor cases, Small Flat and Small Angled. Depending on the shape of the newly added case,
add it to the corresponding section of the ini, under the existing commands.

Example with the mod "Do as you say Redux". It adds a small, angled display case to Windhelm. The ID is 0x078E2.

The swap command in this scenario should look like this

0x078E2~DoAsYouSayRedux.esp|0x000800~RallysDisplayCases.esp

and it should be added to this part of the ini

;;DisplayCaseSmAngled01|RallyOutdoorCaseSmAngled
0x07207D~Skyrim.esm|0x000800~RallysDisplayCases.esp
0x046FF9~Skyrim.esm|0x000800~RallysDisplayCases.esp
0x078E2~DoAsYouSayRedux.esp|0x000800~RallysDisplayCases.esp

Then save the ini and enjoy :)

Huge thanks and kudos to TobesTobelle for creating the BOS plugin and ini and helping with mesh partitioning.
You´re the best mate!

Thanks to Shizof for the last missing piece of the puzzle!
