You have AFT installed, or have imported him into a follower framework mod, & thus he is broken. As the mod page clearly states, AFT is incompatible with custom framework followers, and unlike most other frameworks automatically imports all followers that utilize CurrentFollowerFaction (most followers) simply by being installed.
