Unfortunately in my game it still interferes with the use of bow and arrow. I bring the docked arrow close to my face it undocks.

"You can activate in two ways as long as you have the spell:

    • Place your left hand near your mouth and press the trigger
    • Place both your hands near your mouth and press either trigger (Off by default. It can be enabled through the ini.)
Activation using your right hand is disabled because it interferes with using a bow."

You recommend I change something in the 'ini' ?

I tweaked the logic a little and uploaded a fixed version. I think this should fix it. Let me know how it goes.

Thats better, Arrow and Bow work fine now.

      But ..

Can you some how deactivate the whistle ability if a spell is in hand or crossbow... When I naturally use the spell or Crossbow and my left hand is flapping near in a fight I am whistling Dixie's Land hahaha...

Maybe have the ability to whistle when only empty handed.. ?

      Suppose I could use :

UseBothHands = 0# Set this to one to only whistle when both hands are near your mouth. You can use this if you're triggering the whistle when you don't mean to.

Can you explain what you're seeing in a little more detail? I'm not following.

Here are some things you can try.

      • First, you can reduce the activation radius. That will mean you have to be closer to your face to activate the whistle. I may have made the radius too big.
      • You can also use the "Both Hands" option as well.

Yeah basically like you mention in the INI I am accidently whistling ALOT during combat using spells and such..

I have activated the flag for UseBothHands = 1 so this shouldn't be a issue now...

You could expand this for HORSES too   :)

I think that the default radius might be too high. The default radius might be too large. I'll see about adjusting the default ini settings.

      Requiring two hands works too.

And you're not the first one to ask about horses haha.

      Say ... Wolfman5750,

Did you ever look into and would consider a horse whistle VR mod ???

I have a new horse mod in game and this would be so good to have...

I've had some requests for one. As long as it's activated using a power, it would be pretty easy to make. What horse mod is it?

You should totally add the horse whistling as a sister mod (e.g. 2-hand whistle for Inigo, 1-hand for horse).

Bonus points if you can add a physical horn/whistle item that has to be held to your mouth haha.

EDIT: these are even better: Call Follower - A VR Adaption & Gift by Hand &  Sentinel Horns VR - Alert and Summon

For some reason I think another mod is stopping this working now.. For the life of me I can not whistle at all, .....

Update - redownloaded and seems to work now.

(werewolf one still not working though)

It could have been something to do with the ini file. Glad you got it worked out.

I don't know what's up with the werewolf mod. I can't replicate the same issue on my end. I've heard some people say that casting the transformation power through VRIK works normally no matter what. I've gotten some info from Prog, but haven't had time to implement it.
