I've updated this reskin to work with the latest 1.2.0 update to QuickLoot EE. This is more just a filler until uranreactor updates Dear Diary Dark to work with QL EE latest update, which I have no doubt will be superior to mine and I will always recommend over this reskin.
Until then, I hope this satisfies those that use DDDM and QL EE. Cheers everyone!

Thank you for this - I can confirm it works with the latest Completionist and I'm not getting crashes. It's working great! I have a difference of opinion on the border of the currently selected item in the menu so I changed it in the SWF to match the color of Dear Diary Dark Mode as shown here.
I simply found it too difficult to determine which item was currently selected cause your border was too dark. Hope this helps you or one of your users.

Edit (11/16/23): Fixed a couple expired screenshots. Here's a couple new screenshots, making whether the Completionist icon is there or not irrelevant (something I've instinctively known but not posted about and adding to this mods superiority): Completionist found. Completionist not collected before. OriginalKiltedFrog's original mod contained this content and my patches follow suit.
Edit Removed all the bs: Here you go - a .7z compressed file and directory structure for easier installation and overwriting with a mod manager.
Let me know if that works for you - @OriginalkiltedFrog, you're welcome to use these changes or use as a base. I just wanted to make it work for me and help others till you update. Happy to remove on your say so.
@Astachura11 it's been awhile since I installed it, but if I recall correctly, this mod has completionist support whereas DDDM does not - at least till it gets updated. My change is purely cosmetic so I could have the right color outline of the selected item along with the updated completionist support that OriginalkiltedFrog added. If you're not seeing the problem, you're probably on an older version of completionist or not using it.

Edit: Completionist version 3.9.0.4 overwrites this mod, making it - and my changes - irrelevant. As Astachura11 said, load completionist after Quickloot EE and problem solved. (edit2: actually that's not what he said, but do it anyway (sorry for my dumb sense of humor, didn't mean to come across rudely))
TimmyTheQuiet Are you good at editing swf files?, can you help in adding Oblivion icon to swf file Quick loot ee?, this link has a guide https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/articles/3825, but how many I have not tried as I do not get and instead of Oblivion icons I get empty squares. In a nutshell, I need a lootmenu.swf which will support mod "Completionist" and Oblivion Icon. Neutrall9, Try this patch, see if that works for you. Make sure that overwrites any other copy of LootMenu.swf. If you still see empty squares, it probably means your fontconfig.txt isn't correct or isn't present. In that case, try reinstalling Oblivion Interaction Icons and make sure you select Dear Diary for the font config.
Let me know your results, seems to work for me. I'll check back soon.
Edit @Neutrall9: See my OP for a link that has THIS mods changes, with my border fix, and Oblivion Interaction Icons compatibility. With that you'll have the best of both worlds, and known enchantment checkmarks.
Edit: @OriginalkiltedFrog: if you've been following any of this - I would say don't delete your version. Yours does a couple things Completionist's does not. Most notably so far, yours has a checkmark for known enchantments which Completionist is missing. I'll be reverting back to this - I'll have to redo the selected border again cause I deleted it, and I'll reestablish the link in the OP I made and to the response I gave to Aezay above. And now since Neutrall9 turned me on to Oblivion Interaction Icons, I'll make a version with it's icons as well. (I might even be willing to do a white text version if anyone's interested - I don't use it myself, but I know how annoying it is when UI's don't match) I find it very odd that Completionists version doesn't show its own Completionist trophy icon. The museum icon is there... There's another thing yours does, but I can't pin it down. Some scripted/enchanted items have a red lightning icon, while regular enchants have a blue lightning icon. Yours shows that - Completionist's shows them all blue. I'm not going to discuss the mod/items I notice with this issue here ;>

@TimmyTheQuiet Do you happen to use a mod (Constructible Object Custom Keyword System) this mod is made for AE, but there is a port for SE (Port) there is also a Dead Diary dark mod patch (Dear Diary C.O.C.K.S. Mode) but the creator has not found where you can change the color sections and text on the right side of the window, can you help ? here is an example.

If I can find time later I'll look things over and maybe give it a try, but it won't be a quick turn around since I have other things I need to do first. One of which is a white text version of the patches I posted here yesterday. I noticed a few requests for it earlier in the thread and understand OriginalkiltedFrog is extremely busy.

White text version is up, plus a white text version with the ObII patch. If you've wanted a white text version, there it is - let me know if that works for you.

@SkoomaDelRey, you're welcome, but I'm sorry it's not working for you. I've been using the Red Steal warm text with ObII since I posted it here with no trouble.
Do you have Dear Diary Dark Mode Warm Color installed? Are you using the Red Steal with ObII Patch? If so, you also need Oblivion Interaction Icons. If you're using Dear Diary Dark Mode White Color, that's probably the cause. I'll get to work on the white version this coming weekend (July 15th/16th).
Beyond that, I'm not sure. If you want you can post your load order, include things without ESPs so I might be able to get a handle on it. If you use MO2, the simplest way to do that is to post the "modlist.txt" from your profile folder. Are you using Crash Logger? If so, post a crash log with my patch installed - they should be in your "<user>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE" folder. Maybe that will reveal something.
Oh, also - if using warm text - be sure this mod pages download is installed and overwritten by my patch, my warm text patches need the button art and icon items it contains, just like OriginalkiltedFrog's original version.
Edit: I'd like to hear from anyone else using my patches - please let me know. Does it work? Does it crash? Is it like my screenshots?

Made some edits to my OP - I'd like for OriginalKiltedFrog to contact me, but I can't seem to message as the forum goes through some changes. See my screenshots, make some choices and download as you like. And let me know of problems as you go, or improvements that could be made. If you know of mods that I can incorporate to make this even better, please let me know.
You're very welcome - last I heard from a downloader, it caused crashes, let me know your results. I'm still using the Warm Text (Red Steal) with no issues.
Why is the color font for items you can steal pink? The default and all the reskins for this mod seem to have the same problem. Why not red like the rest of the game?
See my editted post, I've been making patches and would like to offer you a warm text version with red stolen items. I'll do a white text version tomorrow. Only changes QuickLoot EE menu, not regular inventory or trade - for now.
I have looked in the SWF and this does indeed carry the changes I implemented into QLEE for Completionist support so you should be good, the crashing is unrelated.
Would it be possible to make a dear diary original (Light mode) version? I can't find one anywhere :P It's of course fine if not, it's your mod : ) Thanks for making this, if I'm unable to find a dear diary light mode version I will probably switch to dark mode and start using this gem of a reskin.
I’ve been meaning to get to making a white text version now that this appears to be more stable, but I went out and got myself a new rig so I’ve been working on getting things setup and reinstalled, and my life outside of that just got incredibly busy as my two young daughters are growing up too fast.
Truthfully, anyone with experience using jpexs could find the font colour values and switch the hex coding from FFCC99 to (I assume) FFFFFF.
EDIT: Whoops! Misread your post. I’m highly unlikely to do a light mode as I’d need to redo too much of the “art” and I’m not sure I’ll be able to find the time anytime soon. Thought this was a request for the white text version of DD Dark.

Consider these also test versions, but I rather like them. Inspired by SkoomaDelRey. These are warm text versions with and without ObII, but have full red for stealing items. These only affect Quickloot, you might still see pink in regular inventory menus depending on your setup (screenshot). Same as the above warm text version, be sure you also have OriginalKiltedFrog's original version from this mod page installed and overwritten by my patches, or you may be missing button art and will likely crash.
