Thanks for making these! Is it possible to add other Bruma plants (that have a tree & ingredient model) to this list, like bergamot seeds? Would I just add them in the same format?
Sure! But I can not find them, can you help me? Open console and click on them, to see their FormID and names, then make screenshot and send me link to them.
I'm having the opposite problem as the people unable to grow red cabbage. Red cabbage is the only plant that grows properly, by which I mean the right plant grows in the right place. If I plant a radish, it turns into an alkanet. If I plant lettuce, it just straight up disappears. Red cabbage is the only one that works. I don't know much about modding myself so I don't know what could be causing this.
Finally got around to testing it on a new game, and it's still not growing, but the lettuce next to it and all my other plants are growing perfectly. I simply don't know what's wrong.
I am actually having a similar problem with red cabbage, new game doesn't fix it. I've been experimenting and will get back if I figure anything out as well (possibly that latest Bruma update changed something?)
It worked! I knew it was going to be something like that, but sometimes you can stare at Xedit and the files so long and not see it. Thank you so much!
I didn't care enough about plantable plants to clutter my plugins with them, but esp free? Sign me on! Thank you for making these, and bless the author of the form list manipulator. :D
can I plz do a request for the waterview house mod to have a patch like this one and have those plants be plantable in any soils :) I try to do it my self but fail i dont know much about modding. thanks in advance :)
Daviina means they'd like to grow the Peach/Pear/Orange tree, watermelon vine etc. models for the Bruma fruits from Waterview in regular Hearthfire plots. The author uses custom form lists which only correspond with the soils for her player homes.
It seems to be working perfectly well by manually adding them to the Hearthfire form lists, but I'm rather hesitant to show them how to do it, because I'm worried it will introduce tedious cleaning every time they install a mod adding growables.
I think you should try and contact LeianneG and ask whether she would consider releasing her plants for Hearthfire herself using the LeucisticDinosaur method, because her permissions are extremely strict. She seems to be still responding to comments. If that falls through and nobody objects, I wouldn't mind writing a guide for how to do it through SSEEdit.
Hi sofulsomety! Thank you for the information. I looked through the comments and it comes out that she is not planning such a change, she was already asked about it. As you noted, her permissions are very strict, so I will make a patch and send it privately.
@Daviina668 I will make a patch for you, for personal use only. Please tell me which of the two mods listed you want a patch for.
test it out in two mods houses, LODB safehouse and Whiterun Safehold, but for some reason could only see the blueberries and nothing else, like corn, strawberries etc
Edit Nevermind it works perfect thank you, I just had to move and delete a few things and got it working :)
There are two lists in the game: a list of seeds and a list of plants that will grow from those seeds. They must have the same number of elements. This message means that one of the lists has a different size than the other.
Yes, I manually cleansed and synced up the flPlanterPlantedFlora and flPlanterPlantableItem Hearthfire lists in xEdit, which was a pain and a half, but everything seems to be working now No more blueberry seeds growing into Emperor Moss or your mod throwing errors. Thanks and sorry for bugging you. Hope this comment helps someone else.

Installed this after playing through Bruma and loving the variety of plants this can add to Goldenhills.
Any chance you could add onions and red onions on your next update, please? Be nice to be able to make those beef skewers! 🍴
