this mod really needs some sort of estus addon so when you revive you get a set amount of potions, and the same for when you rest. something like distars mod. by "need" i mean it'd compliment it insanely well.
I know its a very late reply but just putting here so that anyone who reads this should know the fact that this is part of one of the most popular Wabbajack modlist - Lorerim. I copied its setup to another modlist (Ro) which I am using. And the setup goes like this-
Just make sure to tweak settings as soon as you start your game for the first time after mod installation. Recommended settings in MCM: - Disable diablo mode and all other options on that panel/tab - Set all "item drop" percentages to zero - VERY IMPORTANT!!: Change the time taken after to load the game after death/downed to some high value like 5 or 7 seconds (default is 0, extremely risky) - Then optionally you can set skill or exp gain penalties (but just avoid item drop penalties as mentioned above)
I would like to use this mod but I use another mod that gives weight to my coins, so I don´t carry much money with me, making this penalty not so heavy as I would like.
Any chances to make this mod take money from a specific container?
I only wish it would still play my character death sound and the death music, it feels weird just hearing nothing as my character kneels down for a bit
clockwork, if you dont use a camp site to sleep in the dungeon or the castle because once you go in, you cant go back in...
pitfighter mod too, if you die in the ring, you cant restart the fight or go in and finish it because the portcullis down and also the pitfighter travels addon. if you die in a fight, the mod is broken because you cant get back to the arena to finish the fight and since the npc you talk to about fights travels with you to the arena, you cant even do the regular fights
Hello, Im playing with the modpack NolvusV5. I was recommended this mod in order to help prevent the load on death save bloat issue where eventually my long standing saves become corrupted. However unfortunately the mod doesnt seem to work at all for me.
My game just loads my last save upon death. Ive tweaked all the MCM settings so that I dont lose any gold/items when dying, I dont use the ashpiles and I have it set to where id respawn at the nearest hall of the dead upon dying.
I've also set the respawn delay to 7 to see if that helps, unfortunately it didn't do anything at all. I would really love to use this mod, and from what I can see atleast I dont have any mods that conflict with it so I am not sure why it wouldnt work. I am using version 1.5 of the mod.
I don't quite understand this mod. It doesn't work for some dungeons for me. Why is there a message that pops up and says "beware, if you die here you will not be able to respawn?" This seems like the exact type of place you would like to be able to respawn. It just loads a save instead, which I wanted to avoid. If I delete saves before dying then I am left in a perpetual downed or dead state, forcing me to quit the game. Someone please help.

Does this mod prevent us from corrupting our save files during a long play through because of loading from ingame?
I am looking for something which keeps my save file clean. Does this mod help to achieve this or is it also just loading a save game after death?
