About this mod

Extend Spell Research with feature to analyze SCROLLS, SPELL TOMES and STAVES, among other things.
You can now take notes while walking, running, sneaking and even jumping (animation will break but it will recover).

Also fix some aspects of it.
Includes patches of some mods that I use.

[Features]
  • Optimized Spell Compose look-up speed
  • Optimized Research Mode
    - Able to walk around (read issues) during "Taking Notes".
          - Combat will not interrupt research mode but triggering "Taking Notes" will. (You can get ambushed again, good luck!)
          - Taking Notes is highly optimized, even more by caching.
          - Less interruptions by being able to "Take note" all spells. Supported or not.
  • Able to analyze scrolls and staves (requires cache) in your right hand or left if the right hand isn't any of it.
  • Able to analyze spell tomes during Research Mode, instead of 'eating' it.
  • Able to filter, no more fudging around the menus searching for your thesis, solutions, fuel (read issues) and for dissolving.
  • Less tedious "Research - Sleep - Research - Sleep" Loop by not adding debuffs when "Well Rested".
    (Well Rested buff normally lasts for around 8 hours, so you have that time of free Research without debuffs)
  • Fully recovers exhaustion when sleeping "Exhaustion points / 4" hours.
    (i.e. 60 is the max exhaust value, so you just need 15 hours to recover from that)
  • Extended MCM with an Auto Save/Load feature and more.
  • Cache mod values to enable the analyze staff feature and to optimize "Taking Notes".

[Issues]
  • Not compatible with mods that turns spell tomes into regular books. The feature to analyze tomes may not work.
  • The movement animation may T-Pose at the start, you just need to wait for a while for things to register. This is common if you have a lot of animation mods installed.
  • Due to the way Spell Research considers something as fuel, the filter will consider all poisons as eligible fuel. It will return it back if it is not valid.

2. Make sure you aren't on any Spell Research Activities/Effects. (No placed cauldron, no debuffs and etc)
3. Install this mod
4. Run FNIS/Nemesis
