Detailed NPCs is my suite of mods that equips various items to NPCs relevant to their roles (e.g., guards, mercenaries, farmers, etc.). As a result, Detailed NPCs enhances storytelling through small visual cues that provide insights (even clues!) to all the wonderful (and not so wonderful!) NPCs in game. Many of my mods can be used together to create layers of meaning.

Hi, I had a question about the permissions on this mod. It says that some of the content is made by other people. I was wondering which models that applies to, or if it's all of them.

Lovely work, though, and I always appreciate this little attire-based immersion things. Such a small thing that goes so far.

Looking at the texture files I noticed the file name for the Hjaalmarch scarves is different from the others and doesn't match the name of the mesh like all the others do and ends with "tint" instead of "pine" like the mesh file.

Edit for follow up: That was successful and made it display properly in game.

Can these scarves be equipped by the Dragonborn and followers? Also is it compatible with most cape mods so you can wear both at the same time?

Yup, its playable so both your character and followers can wear them. Whether you can wear them along with a cape depends on the bodyslot the cape in question occupies. In my experience from several of mods I've tried, yes you can wear both. If you notice you've equipped a scarf and it unequips the cape you were wearing then they occupy the same bodyslot number and can't be worn at the same time.

Just so you know, DNPC scarves do not add scarves to the loot list or crafting list so you'll either need to kill an elderly townsfolk with one on, spawn one in, or edit the esp to add crafting recipes if you want to get one I think.  I think there's actually crafting recipes included so I was wrong about that.

Thanks so much for the mod!
I was wondering if you could do the same for Cloaks of Skyrim, that mod desperately needs an SPID treatment

Hey great mod, I love it. Wanted to hopefully give you some good tips.

    1. You can pack it in a BSA just to make it clean. Just avoid packing scripts.
    2. You seem to have a single dirty edit.
    3. Distributing with SPID and setting a chance is a little messy and typically you'll find some NPCs that didn't have scarves before suddenly will now so you might wanna let users know that, it's a SPID thing.
    4. These are really expensive too lol. Might wanna try matching the prices with something like hoods or gloves.

Hiya! I dig the SPID series of mods you do! They've always worked great, but recently I've seen this in my po3_SPID logs:

Can you point me in the direction of what I might've done? Only thing I can think of was updating SPID to 6.1 and downloading the SPID ini rework files that might've touched these files?

Appreciate it! :D I was wondering what you did just so I can keep it in mind (I'm going to try to do it to the Dwemer Fairies SPID you have).

SPID 6.1.0 requires the Form IDs to be in the form of 0x0DDF86, as an example. The leading zeroes are replaced.

How can I add warmth values to your scarves for Bethesda's Survival Mode using SSEdit? I'm really noob and the only guide I've found is for Frostfall lol

Any chance you make a SPID for another Scarves Mod? Which in my opinion is not that clipping.

I tried. I did not receive responses from two authors re: permissions.
