V 1.3 I have tweaked the Ambient Occlusion to reduce ENB AO shadow shimmering/mudiness on tree foliage. This was compensated by the addition of game ambient occlusion. Interior brightness has also been tweaked to fix overbright interiors.
V 1.4 Interiors have been updated for all weathers, reducing their night time brightness and fixing over saturated point lighting. Fog intensity was also increased throughout. Exterior AO was fine tuned for the addition of game AO, including tweaks to SSSAO.
V 1.5 Interiors adjusted for vanilla. Made overly bright nights darker and reduced aurora intensity for more natural lighting. Reduced snow particle brightness. Tweaked skin SSAO
V 1.6 This is a much larger edit for LUX users where I have settled on interior values which form a happy medium. During the day time, the scene is more realistic with higher ambient interior light, whilst at night ambient interior light is reduced. In addition I have made major edits to animated stars, Image based lighting, AO, SSSAO, Sunscale, DayDirectLighting, Sky gradients, Particle and much much more, too much to remember. This version is not final, and there may be visual bugs, let me know in the comments and I'll take a look.
Changing form Skyrim LE to Anniversary, after a long haitus away. In LE I always used Technochromatic ENB which I loved. But this one blows that out of the way. I am glad I stumbled upon it, and thank the author for all the hard work that is obvious that went into it. It is superb. 👍♥
fSAOIntensity 15 like in suggested skyrim.ini OR fSAOIntensity=0.45 like in skies above.ini file? Also fSAOExpFactor, fSAORadius have different values in skies above.ini and what you suggest to put in skyrim.ini in description
I like this preset, I'm trying to fix the more advanced settings, and the ambient occlusion has too often a strange blurring/flickering effect on trees leaves and more rarely on the grass too, when it's few grass
Love this preset, thank you for sharing. In case you're taking suggestions:
Many of the nights are simply gorgeous under the auroras, but many of those without are simply too dark to be playable. I know some users prefer this but I'm not one of them--I'd love a "Brighter Nights" option that eg raises the ambient light levels for Clear_Pine_Forest and similar night weathers.
Also, many users have reported experiencing "flickering" or "shimmering" due to AO settings here. I was able to resolve them by setting SSAO_SSIL => SamplingRange and SamplingRangeInterior to "1.0" (from ~.5) as suggested by this reddit post. Maybe this would be worth trying out on your setup, recommending as a solution in an FAQ or sticky post, or just including in the preset if it seems to help others.
Hello, and much thanks for this preset. I am brand new at using enb's for Skyrim and would like to know how to remove the black borders in game after putting this together. Thanks again.
Amazing ENB, it really is. I tried so many ENBs in the past view months and then finally gave Skies Above a try. Finally an ENB that worked out of the box with great weathers on top :)
I did a couple of playthroughs with it and it has been absolutely great, especially when combined with LUX.
However, now playing a vampire, I ran into an issue: night eye doesn't work. As a matter of fact I see a lot less with night eye on than without. Is there any workaround or solution to that problem?
Night eye just doesn't play well with ENB. It's an annoying but inherent problem with using ENBs. Most, if not all, ENBs though should have a 'night eye fix' section where you adjust the values that trigger 'night eye' and that will then apply a modifier to the ENB effect that usually will increase the brightness of the ENB and reduce the Saturation. With that effect usually also being adjustable.
Not sure where in this ENB setting it is as I haven't used this one yet but it looks really promising.
This truly seems like a unique ENB just from the description. My question is, what is the performance hit compared to an ENB like Rudy for Cathedral Weathers? I am getting around 35 fps with that one..
I just switched from Rudy in Pi-CHO for Cathedral. This is way more responsive, not so heavy. Its more realistic and it seems to be contrast based and utilizes shadows....a bit too much? The skies are amazing, and the weather cycles/presets are phenomenal!
The heavy AO outlines and shadows need thinning, imho. I miss the particle light tuning from Pi-Cho Cathedral (which was unrealistic but was its best feature) that gave it its flare.
Overall, this is the best Weather & ENB mod with its great visual balance, performance friendly settings to build off.

Don't forget to activate the Skies Above KreateE weather preset in game via END key/Presets/Skies Above/LOAD
Thankyou for the comments, images and if you enjoy the mod, please endorse it :)

PATCHES
Exteriors look great but interiors/nights are really dark which is bad combination with Night eye not working.
how do I get rid of the purple lights? I did not have this problem last build.
This one?
sry...i mean this one
it's so cute!

I love this enb so much, it has great potential. Hopefully the kojak finds time and make this weather and enb more complete.
