Hello all! As this mod is used in a handful of popular modlists I just wanted to let everyone know there is a massive update coming that reworks all of my fin meshes from the ground up and, most importantly, will include morphs so they will not only conform to your character slider modifications but also move with the head when NPCs talk. Patches will be provided for just about every Argonian retexture mod out there and it will release with an FOMOD to make everyone's lives easier.
This was my first mod I ever released three years ago and I'm glad everyone's enjoying, but it definitely needs some polish as I've learned a lot since then. Happily the update is about 75% done, and I'm working to push it out as soon as possible. :)
I'm using mo2 with just vanilla textures and Its not working. Do I need to manually put the files somewhere or is it most likely a compatibility issue? (sorry I'm new to modding skyrim)
I assume you mean MO2? I can't help much with mod manager problems but I'd recommend making sure the esp is checked and that your files are being loaded in the right place.
Yes, you can install masc/fem Argonian textures first, then let Argonians Enhanced overwrite, then install my mod with the masc/fem choices and overwrite with the Argonians Enhanced patch afterward. Argonians Enhanced is just specular maps so as long as it's winning over your chosen Argonian texture overhaul you should be good to go.
Sorry for my late response - could you tell me what exactly you're seeing? Do the fins load purple/textureless in-game? I've downloaded the file to make sure I uploaded the right things and everything seems to be where it should be.
Edit: I see what you mean now. The fins on one side of the female Argonian head aren't loading. The missing 'texture' reports confused me as the textures are there. The mesh is not. I'll work on a fix for this.
Yep, it's actually half done, I have a screenshot in the stickied post, I've just been very busy the past six months. Lots of updates to my mods to come hopefully in autumn.
Can I merge two textures together? For example Flawn's female textures + Masculine male textures? I assume I can just copy the textures of one sex and paste in the other version's folder? Or do I need to edit the esp file?
You shouldn't need to modify the esp file. If you use a mod manager you can pretty easily disable the opposite-sex files so that you can use the setup you described.
There is no standalone version?? On the pinned comment you say that Complete NPC Overhaul uses your fins, but in that mod requirements it says to get a standalone version of your mod, which doesn't exist, there are patches and fins for all other mods but not for that particular mod, this makes no sense at all...
No idea man, this is the wrong mod page to be asking, there has only ever been one version of my mod. You'll have to ask the author of Complete NPC Overhaul, must be a misunderstanding.

If you want to see these fins on NPCs, check out Children of the Hist or the optional files of Complete NPC Overhaul - Argonians.

edit: I fixed it the problem it was just me being stupid putting files in the wrong place
