She is a Nord mage with various functions to use, a quest that will explore her background story and character development, and plenty of lines tailored to unique scenarios, many unexpected! Aniya is planned to have a Main story, detailed romance, spell learning, NPC encounters, and more!

Aniya - A Custom Voiced Follower is a companion/quest mod. Aniya, located in The Bannered Mare, is a charming Nord mage student who is morally gray opting to steal sometimes but never kill. She has various functions to use such as a relax function, outfit manager, player combat faction manager, Aniya map tracker, and more. She currently has one introduction quest exploring her initial background, however, there are many more quests planned such as the main story, romance, and side quests. With over 900 lines currently, Aniya has plenty of lines tailored to unique scenarios, many unexpected! Some may even trigger an optional task for you!
Aniya is planned to have way, way more content than you are currently seeing. She will have a Main story, a detailed romance quest/system, spell learning, combat tweaks, NPC encounters, follower relationships that grow, random scenes, misc tasks, 4000 + lines to be added and so much more! This is truly a HUGE project, one of which I am happy to journey on!

INCLUDED IN THIS MOD:
The Quest:
The quest included is an introduction quest, starting off in the Bannered Mare with a scene, after which you will be greeted by Aniya, asked to do a simple task, choose a player faction from her (which can be changed later), and learn of her background and personality. As you know this mod is still very much a WIP and there are many more quests to come!
The Dialogue:
With over 900 plus lines of dialogue. Each one is uniquely crafted to fit situations, moods, stories, events, player attitudes, and your own thoughts! (Is she reading the player's thoughts now??) Her dialogue will largely depend on the circumstances, quests, weather, enemies, location, and much more. Aniya will always say certain lines of dialogue to better fit the world she inhabits, making her an immersive experience for you on your adventures.
The Functions (Post v0.2):
- A "relax/hang out here function": to help your roleplay needs to chill at a camp, town, inn whatever you want she'll chill out and you'll never lose her if you run off. Can be used when talking with Aniya in the let's talk section, or stopped in the first dialogue options.
- A "follow closer/farther function": to make Aniya change how closely she follows you so you can have space or no space between her and you. Can be changed upon talking with Aniya in the let's talk section.
- A "Aniya needs a sweetroll function": That does exactly what it sounds like, give Aniya a sweetroll if she ever asks for one and she will sometimes!
- A "Where Are You, Aniya function": Is a quest that helps track Aniya in the unlikely event that you lose her.
- A "Change Outfit function": Is a function where if you have a certain set of clothes, Aniya will take them and wear them. She will also wear outfits she already has and also allows you to give her anything to wear (a removing base outfit entirely to wear anything). Can be changed upon talking with Aniya in the let's talk section.
- A "change faction function": Not to be confused with vanilla factions, during the intro quest you choose between 4 factions, which if you choose to switch at a later date, can be changed upon talking with Aniya in the let's talk section.

To install manually be sure to just copy and paste it into your Skyrim folder directory.

You can add this mod into Vortex manually, or you can install it off Nexus automatically via Vortex. FOMOD is included with optional patches.

FAQ
- Where can I find her? - In the Banneredmare.
- Can I give her sweet rolls? - Yes, yes you can, she loves them!
- Can I teach her spells? - No not yet, she will get a spell-learning system with mages guild update, which is the next update after v0.5 The Romance Update.
- Can I marry her?! - No not yet, she is currently in the works to have a custom fully functioning romance quest system for the next update.
- What patches are included? - Two patches are included. Both patch the custom body/head mesh/textures to vanilla. One is included with a UNP default outfit, the other is a CBBE default outfit.
- Does she have any follower interactions? - None at the moment, but she will have interactions with Lucifer, Daegon, Secunda, Bowen, Isadore, Spike, and Gore (tbd).
- Will she have a Bruma patch? - She will! It's planned but it will have to wait until I consider her feature complete (v1.0).
- Version 0.2.2 [latest version]:
- Reworked the introduction quest!
- Adjusted objectives, added/removed dialogue, and created a Sweetroll script monitor.
- Players can now get any Sweetroll anywhere! Steal or buy it's your choice now!
- Add two new optional patches! Both patch the custom body/head meshes and textures with the vanilla body/head meshes and textures. One includes only the UNP default outfit, the other includes the CBBE default outfit.
- Removed the records of Brynjolf and Lydia causing blackface bugs.
- Installed a hotfix for the spell-learning introduction quest popping up when they shouldn't yet.
- Version 0.2.1:
- Fix a major bug revolving around other followers walking off.
- Changed the default outfit from (Northgirl) to (The Fancy Witch Armour UNP CBBE) because of permission issues.
- Removed 2 voice lines that were redundant.
- Adjusted the sweet roll misc lines to be rarer.
- Version 0.2:
- An introduction quest.
- 5 random encounters.
- A faction system to which the player belongs regarding Aniya. It is a d&d style system where you are 4 different factions, any of which are attached to the player and can be swapped after the introduction quest at any point if the player chooses.
- Outfit management system. Ability to change into 4 base outfits, 1 default, and 1 nude (for trading and giving your own outfit purposes), all of which is done via dialogue under the let's talk section.
- Improve voice lines over the previous ones, mainly for about me lines.
- A working follow distance dialogue choice system.
- A working relaxed function Give her sweet rolls! She’ll ask for them from time to time! Yes, this is a function in the mod.
- Added a new quest to track Aniya’s location, in the rare chance, you lose her.
- More voice lines, 500 new ones.
- Bug fixes from the previous version.
- Version 0.1.5:
- Converted to Standalone! Has all the previous required mods now as assets. No need to download them separately!
- Version 0.1.2:
- Changed the default outfit to Northgirl and brows/hair to fit lore/wife better.
- Version 0.1:
- The official beta version 0.1(ESP) of the Aniya follower mod. Mod is in the beta testing phase, feedback is needed. Bugs may occur.
As a modder, I have high aspirations for this mod and what I plan to achieve in the future.
In later versions, I plan to add the following with each new version. (any version not listed here will be in the change log.)
- Version beta 0.5: Romance Update:
- Quests include:
- Over 7+ Intro favors to do (some repeatable)
- 2 Dates
- a breakup quest (yes, you have a romance level meter! She can break up with you and vice versa)
- multiple framework quests (handles timers, general romance dialogue, home framework, and romance rank increase events)
- Engagement Quest (repeatable, this acts as a special date)
- Wedding Quest
- Sweetroll Bakery! (includes introduction and final, only available after marriage)
- Over 2,000 + new lines of dialogue, most for Aniya, some for supporting NPCS.
- Several NEW NPCs related to romance quests!
- Quality additions (quest commentary, awareness lines, etc)
- Quality Fixes
- Bug fixes.
- Version beta 0.7: Aniya's magic update, includes a spell learning system, mages guild faction content, a new friend, and other content.
- Version beta 1.0: Main story! Quest commentary, more NPC interactions, more mini-quests/events!
