BRIEF OVERVIEW
This mod adds or modifies over 500 articles of clothing and armor, and creates outfits from these additions. These provide a never-ending variety of outfits for all NPCs and players of Skyrim.

DESCRIPTION
An attempt to provide an ever changing variety of clothing, armor and weapons to the citizens of Skyrim, while keeping the outfits reasonable and lore friendly. Leveled lists and Spell Perk Item Distributor ensure that every playthru is different. Right now, this is for vanilla bodies only. No CBBE, UNP, HIMBO or SOS at this time. This is also an “esp replacer” mod, so after you install the respective clothing and armor mods, you will need to delete its respective esp or move it to optional.

I have taken care to utilize the Requiem armors whenever possible, opting to modify the paths to the meshes and textures so the Requiem experience could be maintained as the mod authors intended. Where possible, any modification was created with the letters RAE_ in front of it, making it easy for other authors to isolate the changes and adjust them if desired. I removed any chests, locations and sometimes even crafting recipes, figuring that there are enough armors to construct. I can always add these back if I get enough requests.

I created several "special armor" sets which are included on certain NPCs. They are described in the "spoiler" section below.

Please note that version 1.30 has added “RAE_Outfitted_DIST.ini” to distribute certain items and outfits to NPCs. This means that beginning with version 1.30, and all future versions, you will need to utilize Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) by powerofthree

Current Mods included and their usage:

Barbarian Steel Armor by steelfeathers
A light set of armor with steel attributes and keywords from Requiem. The set can be crafted at the forge with the proper perks.

Black Bear Ancient Nord Armor
 by gearshout
An armor that any Son or Daughter of Skyrim would be proud to wear. All evidence of Stormcloak armors and helmets have been replaced by these armors. New leveled lists were created to provide a variety of helmets and the possibility that the Berserker Armor would be used in place of the more traditional set. Since these were merely “ARMOR” and “ARMA” adjustments, the original Requiem changes remain intact.  Use version 1.1.2.

Breton Apparel - Imperial Renaissance by Odelaly
Sets of clothing for priests and and mages. The Court Wizards have been know to occasionally wear combinations of these outfits.

Colovian Noble Clothes by steelfeathers
A set of clothing for the better dressed of Skyrim, these clothes have been worked into the outfit lists and will be randomly worn by NPCs in every city.

Common Clothes and Armors by thetrader
Common clothes and armors has been added under the open permissions on the mod's webpage. No additional installation is required. Each article of clothing was compared to its Requiem counterpart and was updated completely - adding and removing keywords as necessary. I removed all of the crafting recipes as there is enough armors and weapons to construct already. All of the leveled lists were redesigned - clothing appears randomly on all NPCs and the armors appear exclusively on bandits. Please download and endorse this excellent mod, but remember, the installation of the mod is not required.

Guard Armor Replacement SSE by taro8
For guards that prefer lighter armor, the meshes and textures have been replaced from this excellent mod. All guards wear armor that reflects their hold’s colors. Any Stormcloak gear was replaced with armor that provide similar protection and a pleasing aesthetic.

Imperial Fine Clothes by steelfeathers
A set of clothing for the better dressed of Skyrim, these clothes have been worked into the outfit lists.

Practical Pirate Outfit by QuarantineCouture
A lore-friendly outfit with a nautical flare, several sailor and pirate NPCs will wear this outfit or its alternate. All statistics are comparable to “Leather Armor” in Requiem and have all necessary keywords.

Rugged Rogue Outfits by QuarantineCouture
A nice assortment of outfits, see the spoiler below for its usage. All statistics are comparable to “Leather Armor” in Requiem and have all necessary keywords.

Skyrim Knight 2018 SSE Version by DarkAltair93
For guards that like to get their hands dirty, or for long-time Requiem players looking for a bit of nostalgia, the steel-plated, robed armor has returned. All heavy armored guards are wearing the robed armor of their respective hold. While different colors were used, all the armors retain the original Requiem qualities, so an armor may appear to be made of ebony or plate, but they retain their original protection.  Any Stormcloak gloves or boots were replaced by an armor that provided similar protection and a pleasing aesthetic. Dawnstar and Morthal guards wear horned helmets reflective of the abundance of Horkers (and their
tusks) which would likely be available.

The Alchemist's Vestments by QuillweaveMods
An outfit for the local apothecaries, see the spoiler below for usage. Includes a set of clothing and a set in “Leather Armor” with all necessary keywords.

Toughened Traveler Outfit by QuarantineCouture
An outfit for the wandering-type, see the “spoiler” below for its usage. The statistics are comparable to “Leather Armor” with an alternate set made for “Scale Armor.”

Wayfarer’s Coat by Ellise
A really nice set of clothing and armor which can be created at the Forge. The armor statistics are comparable to “Leather Armor” in Requiem and have all necessary keywords.

Wilderness Witch Outfit by QuarantineCouture
A set of clothing for wandering mages, these clothes have been included with the mod, but right now have not been incorporated on any NPC.

Willybach's Generic Resources by willybach
This is a wonderful re-texturing of generic Skyrim Outfits. Consequently, these provide a wide variety while being minimally invasive. I am slowly adding these re-textured outfits to the game. Check out the pictures, they look great in game.

Winter is Coming - Cloaks by nivea
This mod adds lore friendly cloaks and hoods to Skyrim. I recommend downloading the ‘Craft Only” version from the Main Fles, although since I replace the esp, it likely does not matter.  That is the version I used.

Mods to be added in a future update or those under consideration

As I mentioned, the mod uses vanilla bodies. There is more variety available with the vanilla body and honestly, it is easier. Once the mod is complete, I will consider adding body options.

If you don't want to be surprised by some of the outfit usage and any "special outfits", open the spoiler below:

Spoiler:
Show
The Alchemist's Vestments

  • "Alchemist's Travel Boots" which fortifies carry weight.

Curalmil, the master alchemist who created the White Phial, and whose undead form resides in Forsaken Cave, has the following articles on him as a death item.
  • Curalmil's Vestments which resist poison.
  • Curalmil's Boots which fortify carry weight.
  • Curalmil's Gloves which fortify alchemy.
  • Curalmil's Hood which resists disease.
  • Curalmil's Cloak which resists magic.

INSTALLATION
Install with your favorite Mod Manager into your Skyrim\Data folder. The RAE_Outfitted.esp  should be installed after Requiem. I use Mod Organizer, so the instructions below will be written with that in mind.

STEP 1: Download this mod and the respective mods from their mod site. Be sure to endorse the other author's work.

STEP 2: [OPTIONAL] Create a separator in Mod Organizer titled “RequiemAE - Outfitted.”

STEP 3: Install the above mods in any order you like. We will only be using the meshes and textures, so if you have any mods that enhance or change these, be sure to prioritize these in the load order as desired.

IMPORTANT: Please unpack any BSAs at this time.

STEP 4: Double click on each mod (except Requiem - Outfitted) and move the esp from Available ESPs to Optional ESPs. See the example below.

STEP 5: Compare your load order with the images below:

The “Left Side” of your load order in Mod Organizer should look like this.

The “Right Side” of your load order in Mod Organizer should look something like this. Note that RAE_Outfitted is BELOW Requiem.esp just like all other patches or mods that affect Requiem.

STEP 6: Review your load order in SSEdit and note any conflicts. Move RAE_Outfitted.esp as low as possible.

If you are using any of the other “Tweak” mods available, you will likely need to do some custom patching.

STEP 7: Run the Reqtificator and place the Requiem_for_the_Indifferent.esp last in your load order. Activate it.

STEP 8 [Optional]: Review your load order in SSEdit again to make sure that the patch maintained their values.  You will likely only need to do this the first time you install the patch so you can understand what the patch does.
