Still using and appreciating this mod for a few years!
This is a nice, simple mod that gives you three free horses that are behind the Whiterun Stables area. Yeah, you just go get on them.
They may not technically belong to you yet just because you rode it, which may be an issue with some other mods. This is a common Skyrim issue not limited to this mod. I easily solve this with the mod: Simple Claim Horse
The only tiny issue I have is that one of the horses, the dark one, Lyard, could benefit from patches for some of the newer Whiterun Outskirts type mods. He is sometimes on the other side of a wall, or sometimes inside the wall (but only the first time you go to ride him). You can still get him if you look hard enough. Hopefully someone patches them to move them slightly for any overhauls that may need it. But even without, this mod is great and functional. JK's Whiterun Outskirts and Whiterun Has Walls may interfere a little.
Other than that, this mod seems to be compatible with the MANY smaller horse mods I use.
I have compacted and ESLed it with no obvious problems.
@Perdida If you ever come back to visit, thank you for this really nice mod!
Also, Perdida, when you return, I am hoping you can change the permissions of this mod to be "open" so we can more easily patch and even add ESLed versions of your mod in the patches, while giving you full credit of course!
Hello, I'm back to Skyrim XD. Thank you for your words, I am glad to know that this mod is still used and as you asked I have changed the permissions so that you can use the horses freely and enjoy it while you can, which is why I did it. My horses must have been happy to see me, because they were all in their places, none of them camouflaged on the wall 😂 Greetings
Hola, volví a Skyrim XD.
You return! Thank you so much for updating the permissions!
I think the slight compatibility issue is between this mod and JK's Whiterun Outskirts. So if you don't have that mod you might not have the problem of finding Lyard inside or behind the wall. If he was moved just a short distance closer to the stable I think that would take care of the issue even without a patch. However; I have not yet tested Ryn's Whiterun CIty Limits or Capital Whiterun Expansion, two of the other popular mods for this area. In case you are curious, Whiterun Exteriors Patch Collection (JK - Ryn's - Market - Capital) is probably the main patch hub for outside Whiterun.
Another thing: I would suggest ESL flagging this mod as an ESP-FE so it does not take an ESP slot. Most mods now do this. You can use ESPFE Follower - Eslify facegen and voices. It is a script that runs in SSEEdit. It easily can convert some mods into ESP-FE. It checks for problems and renames files for you. Then you can upload the ESLed version with a new version number. But, of course, if someone had your original version, they would have to start a new game.
Thanks again for this simple, cool mod. I have used it a lot over the years. And welcome back!
Hello, I don't think I'll go back to the creation kit, but if someone wants to make changes to the mod, they can do so without a problem. Yes, I would like to know so I can use my horses with the new modification XD. I don't have those mods installed, I've recently returned and I'm still not up to date with the most popular new mods. Thanks for the links, I'll try those mods 👍
If you use Immersive Horses use Simple Mounts For Followers. That mod is on regular Nexus Skyrim not here. It does work well. If you use Simple Horses SE, Convenient Horses, or just a combo of Horse Storage, Horse Whistle, and such you will need to research the internet to see if the take ownership command works for this need.
try to use with mod "Horse Branding SE" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20403 but can ride them anyways, the E is fine, you need to stand beside the horse
I cant think of how many times i have been in between a rock and a bandit gang ...with only my ( H ) key to save me ...and get me the heck out of here . This is so much better than convenient horses ever was.I call the horse ( Lyard ) ....Lenard as in Lenard Skinnard . Works for me !
NO TEXTURE ... the stature at the stables outside of Roikstead on the table inside the tent thingy is BLUE ... there is no texture for that lil stature on the table ... the horses there r awesome ! ...

Three Horses (3 Horses at Whiterun Stables) - ESP-FE
The new version has been ESLed and cleaned. Also, the horses have been slightly moved to be more compatible with several of the recent Whiterun mods.
Thank you so much for letting me upload a new version of your great mod!

The horses are free
My horses do not have texture problems.
A capture of the horse and the place on the map?
To go with my horse and check it
Edit: You mean this stable and this horse?
