has anyone tried saving the game with ALLGUD settings/ NPC Distributions all toggled off, then installed this and having it work without issues?
technically ALLGUD might only fire these detection cloaks if the settings for it would be toggled on, so it might work installing this without starting a new game?
Do you think this can work on oldrim? I know that this mod? that changes scripts works just fine on oldrim and this one that distributes ordinator perks also works.
AllGUD LE and SE also were last updated around the same time so they should be similar, right?
I also had the same problem. It's not the allguid mcm, it's not registering swords at all, you could favorite every sword in the game but it just wouldn't show up on character or in the mcm menu.
Uninstalled this, reloaded the game and tried a new game and swords were working again, exited game, used resaver to clear the script from my existing save, loaded the game and swords are working again in my existing save.
So something in your modification of the script is causing one handed swords to not display when you have something else equipped
BTW, you don't need a new game just need to clean the script from your save.
Download fallrim tools, run resaver, load your save, expand script instances and find the script and right click on it then click delete and save.
When you load up the game again, it will load the new modified script into the save.
I'm also having the same problem. Everything except the Sword display (Slot 48) is showing up as expected. Tried this on existing and new games and the result was the same.
EDIT: I'd also like to add that this bug occurs when using just one right handed 1H Sword (No LH items in use, except for shields/spells)
Thank you for putting this together, I seem to have the issue of followers with sword and board, having the shield go invisible. It seems they will either equip the one-hander or the shield but not both at the same time. Otherwise flawless.
Odd, I get the same CTD. Unfortunately, I do not have time at the moment to test much, however judging from the fact that this works for other people I would say it might be a mod conflict? Was this mod made to work with anniversary edition? I am still using standard special edition, no anniversary update has been applied to my game. Could this perhaps be the cause?
Will this work with SMPC or Project Proteus ? I noticed that when I change character, I get a bunch of messages telling me the cloaks are being transfered.
The SPEL used is the same whether via SPID or script. If it works without SPID, it should work the same with this. If it does not work, that's probably not something I can fix in a timely way.
Thank you , I wonder if its posible to do the same with wet and cold, that mod is infamous for cousing freezes if paired with other mods like frostfall and other survival mods, maybe make it use SPID instead of the old cloak spell could fix the issues?
This can be considered as a light-weight version of W&C. As a performance compromise, removes all visual effects and AI packages from Wet and Cold mod, while keeping and slightly optimizing the equipment distribution for NPCs. Also utilizes SPID to distribute NPC exclusions for both performance, variety and easier customization.
In any case - I am unlikely to work on W&C, even if additional SPID work is needed, as I don't use the mod.
Yes sorry for confusion. I am now using this plus the Synthesis Patcher output. AllGUD Tweaks is still useful for people who do not use SPID. The patcher generates the required meshes and is needed for both.
