There was a link provided from last March to a mugshots file for EasyNPC for this mod a few posts down. I noticed that the link no longer functions.
With that said, I just posted EasyNPC mugshots/face previews for this mod today. You can find them here: Natural Lighting Mugshots (for EasyNPC). There is a mugshot set for each of the three install types.
Also, (shameless plug incoming) there are 93 other mugshot collections posted in main files for my mugshot type if anyone needs. (And more all the time!)
this doesnt seem to work with all npcs, derkeethus for example just has a darker head lik the brown face bug for humans. idk if something is missing or not
Argonians with heterochromia (Derkeethus, Shahvee, Stands-in-Shallows) have black eyes. Does anyone know what this might be connected with? https://i.imgur.com/WTIBmd0.jpeg
I love this mod but for some reason Jaree Ra's Eyes bug out and are completely invisibile when I look at him from speaking distance front on. Wondering if any others have had this problem?
I'm having a small issue with Jaree Ra. His body is using the Lizard texture from "Masculine Argonian Textures" but for some reason his head is pink. Not all of them have this issue, Gulum-Ei seems to be working just as intended. I also have "Save the Icerunner" mod along with "Fins Addon - Save the Icerunner Patch" so I'm not sure what else could be causing this issue.
So im trying to edit out Deerkethus side buns feather('cause I dont like them much) tho deleting the entire mesh in nifscope, save, add and overwrite the file to the orignal archive and reinstalling the mod in MO2 it doesn't do it
This should help; I use RaceMenu sculpts, which is why changing the horns would be difficult. When it comes to the custom “hairstyles” I made (like for Madesi)(though come to think of it I made quite a few custom styles; since I’m not on my pc [it died, getting a new one soon] I can’t quite check), I think you would probably have to do something more. I’m sorry I cannot help further at this time.
Though, I had already been working on doing this myself and having it be the default option for further updates (or when/if I go ahead and make another new mod with its own page, since I know many like this mod as-is and I wouldn’t want to take that easier install option away)(and like some can’t handle their food touching on a plate, I can’t handle two different eras of my modding touching 🤣)
Late reply, but BeastHBBB should have you covered for customized Khajiits. There is also Project ja-Kah'jay if you want something a touch more diverse for appearances. (Currently hidden on Nexus by the author, but you can visit her Tumblr, Walking the Grey Maybe, and find download links.
Bear in mind, BeastHBBB also covers Argonians, but with EasyNPC you could pick and choose which ones you like between the two. :)
I meant to try Beast but haven't gotten around to it plus from the screenshots it seems to focus more on Argonians plus the Khajiit don't look very diverse while Project Ja-kah'jay is the exact opposite it's way too diverse for my liking I wish there were a mod that was more of a middle ground but from my searching, I don't think there is one sadly. I thought about trying to make my own but I don't have the time.
this mod is a perfect example of the middle ground for Argonians between vanilla and the ones from BeastHBB which is why I like it so much. Beasts Argonians have too many feathers for me.
My PC died a while ago, going to get a new one in the next month. I am so glad you like my mod, this is my passion project, making all the npcs look like they belong in the vanilla game, but if the game was made in the 2020s. ❤️
Once I get my new computer, I will be back and will be updating this mod (or even making a[nother] new one since ALL of my stuff is lost, though with these files saved here I could very likely be able to retrieve this work at least) and working on the Khajiit. My biggest (artistic) issue with the cat folk is hairstyles, since I plan to use the more immersive KS-style hairs for men and mer, and was working on converting many to fit Khajiit heads. Though, I have considered forcing my ‘tism to just deal with using the existing more “vanilla” hairs for them, lol. After all, Khajiit fur has no obligation to look the same as hair on elves and humans (I tell myself). 🙃
I have a problem with Deerkethus. He´s got a neck gap and I can´t find the problem which mod cause that. I recently installed drachis argonian mod and everything seems fine. A few playthroughs later he suddenly got that gap. I tried everything from changing load order to reinstall this mod.
EDIT: After starting a new game to look if this problem stays, that neck gap disappeared. I changed nothing in my mod loader. I`m clueless. I have no mod that increases the npc weight after leveling up nor is it a modded armor because this is my only guess. It seems the weight is different. Idk
was trying to get this to work with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33436?tab=description Either seem to get crash on load or only works with vanilla npcs. was hoping it would, there a way to get it to work with them? or a patch?

Any hint on how to do it then?
