Thank you so much for the awesome upload! Now water spells seem as mystical and arcane as I always imagined them to be!

Also, I just wanted to ask, what is the name of the third person animations are you using in the pictures? They look amazing!

I'm glad I could help some fellow water magic enthusiasts! The load order from the screenshots is long gone, so I can't say for certain, but I believe both of those idle poses came from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/49853

Which magic casting animation are you using?

Hi! Is this compatible with Strange Runes?

I believe strange runes doesn't touch the meshes for the default magic hand effects, it just adds the strange runes effect over top, so it should be fine. I'm not 100% sure though so if you test it out let me know if anything looks weird.

Update - I just uploaded a patch for Phenderix Elements, but I haven't gotten the chance to test it out yet. Tried to do something differently from the previous patches and it's fully standalone, doesn't require the main download. I think the water vfx in that mod actually look really good, but I figured some might want this for a consistent look across mods.

The design is much better, but it would be even more immersive if it looked like water was coursing around your hands.

Sorry to report that this does NOT work with Phenderix Magic Evolved

Thanks for testing! I just uploaded a patch under optional files that should make it work with either of the Phenderix mods.

Do you know If it would work with the atlantean race mod? They have access to water spells.

    Very cool effect btw!

That mod is using a completely vanilla asset for their casting art, so unfortunately this mod wouldn't overwrite it. I could make a patch, but I'd have to overwrite the vanilla effect AbsorbBlueHandFX01, and I'm sure it would end up overwriting some other things unintentionally. The best thing you could do is go into creation kit, load up atlantean race's esp, find the spells added by that mod under Magic -> Spells, find their corresponding magic effects under Magic -> Magic Effect (i.e. RXYAtlantanAbsorbWaterHealthEffect) and change the drop down "Casting Art" from AbsorbBlueHandFX01 to waterfxhand01.

Thank you for actually explaining that to me! I'll have to see if I can do this later as I feel that mod would greatly be improved with this visual affect.
