I've added a new addon for long dresses and skirts, it will add custom animations to characters wearing these items. It also uses Armor Clothes and Weapon Framework keywords to identify them (I've uploaded a patch for vanilla stuff to test it, or you can patch your own items adding required keywords). Honestly, the first purpose of this wasn't to use custom walk and run animations, but fixing other situations that can cause restricted movement or clipping issues if wearing long dresses or robes, like sitting, riding (recommended Princess Horse Riding animations), jumping, combat... Anyway, you can add any animation you wish.
V2.1
Added male support to long dresses addon, to accomodate recent changes in Armor Clothes and Weapon Framework (now includes separate keywords for each gender).
V3.0
Added a new addon with conditions for custom feet (hooves, claws, cyborg), for example, if you have a custom race with cyborg body or character is wearing robotic outfit, you can make it walk like terminator...
I've also reorganized priorities, so, you must download heels and longdress addons again or rename folders.
V3.1
New addon for float animations, it will force characters to use floating animations if wearing an item with specific keywords. You need to add these keywords from latest version of Armor Clothes and Weapon Framework, to desired items.
Note: Finding good animations for each situation is difficult, if you know good animations mods, share them, your suggestions will be useful for other people.
I've added a new file with conditions for characters using fins, mainly to allow custom swimming animations, you have to add fins keyword from AC&W framework to feet or armor parts to force these animations, as example you can see my mermaid ring mod.
Note that actually I use OAR instead of DAR, so, I haven't tested it in game, if you find issues tell me.
Unfortunatelly, DAR is essential to identify keywords attached to characters, we have to wait for an updated version of its SKSE plugin. Actually I've downgraded SkyrimSE.exe to 1.6.353 because I use a lot of mods that includes SKSe plugins not updated yet.
hello, i neither can't get it to work. I tried to have Victoria high heels animation, but if mod is active, it will always work on all armors and if disactivated, it will not work, regardless i have tagged and put animations in the folder. Coudl we get a guide for this? as you did with the Aormor Framework, you know. Would be great!
Don't install animations mod because overwrites vanilla ones, so animations will be played all the time. You have to download mod manually and extract animations files, then copy these files to correct folder from this mod. Now, only charcters wearing items with heels keyword will play these animations.
Thank you for your attention. By extract do you mean i copy/ paste the HKX files from the mod? Or do i have to extract something else from a BSA extractor or something?
EDIT: OK i got it to work finally! So i was doing pretty much everything right, except just like sizzleXe i copied the animation files directly into 70004 folder, with the txt files. Actually you have to add two new folders there and name them male and female. then copy the HKX animation files into those new folders, so it looks like Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Meshes\actors\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\_CustomConditions\70004\female or Edition\Data\Meshes\actors\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\_CustomConditions\70004\male
I don't know but the animations arn't working for me. I downloaded the heels version and put the victoria heels animation in the folder(70004). I have the Misc High Heels mod, and downloaded the patch for it. I've check in xedit and the keyword "ClothingHeels" is indeed in there. But doesn't seem to be working. Did I miss a step?
Maybe you have a conflict with other animation mods, note that priority is based on folder names, so, you have to change folders names.
Example: you have a mod which uses a folder named "100" to store their animations, and a second mod wich uses folder "200", if required conditions are right for both mods, animations from second mod will be played because first one have a lower number in folder name, so, if you want to give more priority to first mod, you can change folder name to 300.
Just wondering, your heels folder has a text file called "Longdress_Animations" instead of "Heel_Animations" or something similar. Is that intentional?
Dynamic animation replacer check keywords by formID, so yes, you have to give a plugin or master to find this form in _conditions file. KID also needs to get these forms you want to distribute from a plugin.
@Kalambre: When you add female animations, don't you have to add the files in a subdirectory "female"? Like: meshes\actors\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\_CustomConditions\70004\female\mt_walkforward.hkx Might be worth mentioning in the installation instructions.
Tip for (heels) animations, from less sexy to exaggerated:
TBBP Dragonfly animations without twirling idle - YouTube use google to find the SSE version, it's on the NSFW site that shall not be named, CAM 30 00 uploaded it september 3th of 2021 - Very exaggerated arm movement while running, I recommend not using the files that involve running and using victoria's hkx files for that.
Feel free to sticky this info or copy a part of it :)
Gender folders are included, but they are deleted if you install it with mod manager tools because they are empty.
A new section with recommended animations for each situation, can be a good idea, I will add. Actually I've tried a mix of Victoria's animations with other 360 animations I can't remember (I think the yare converted from a LE mod). For sprinting I'm testing Sky Sprint options, and also using other extra animations like: Pretty Jump, Sexy idles, Sexy sit, and Feminine pickup.
i'm sorry you mention "keywords" many times in description and in these posts here, but you never mention where we add these key words.
"You need to add these keywords from latest version of Armor Clothes and Weapon Framework, to desired items."
This mod has no keyword lists on the page nor in the download, so where am I looking?
I am not trying to be rude, but like many mods, the authors skip through steps in describing installation, you really need to spell out each step with an example. Not just list parameters and expect the downloader to figure it out.
The Armor Framework page is also not helpful in helping someone understand where these keywords are added. Like seriously add keywords to where and how?????
Please do a step by step guide assuming you are writing it for someone who knows nothing. I'm sure many people look over these two mods and just leave them thinking "keywords to what and where?"
You have to add keywords to armor records in your armor or clothes mods, in keywords section, using CK or SSEEdit. Armor Clothes and Weapon Framework includes a testing spell to add keywords in game, but only for testing purposes because changes aren't permanent. All keywords are explained in modders guide, downlod it in Armor Clothes and Weapon Framework page.
EDIT: I've written a basic guide for beginner, you can download on Armor Clothes and Weapon Framework page?, I hope it will help you.

Not my first post on your page. You know i am a lover and strong supporter of your work. This is amazing job!
I hope to get your attention on this issue tho: Your mod is DAR dependent and DAR is not working anymore with Skyrim.
Could you suppress that dependance and make your mod standalone?
thank you for your support
I saw the message from Doodlezoid saying he will do something about DAR. At least someone is on it.
The beta branch supports searching for a string in the nif file, so add HH_OFFSET and it will add heels sound to a piece of high heels :)
