Is this acting buggy with or without having Anniversary Edition? Use Skyrim Lite Loader and this will work just fine.

Thank you so much for the mod!  I really appreciate it!!

Good vampires....There are two clans from ESO that fits that description, House Ravenwatch (my favs) from Rivenspire and Valeric's clan in Eastmarch.

House Ravenwatch is lead by vampire lord Count Verandis.

Valeric was formerly a Volkihar vampire that left and formed his own family.

Although while House Ravenwatch feeds off of willing blood donors (they don't kill innocents, just have a little sip) and the wicked (they DO kill the wicked tho), Valeric's clan seems like they try to swear off blood entirely.

From a quick wander around after install, I went in immediately checking to see if this was more of a "prebuilt" home, and much to my surprise, it wasn't. I actually had to go to the Steward and buy upgrades, but didn't do the children's room at first to test that, and while I was at first a bit thrown off the cellar was removed, I actually prefer it this way. After adding the Children's Room upgrade, the room off of the main room got decorated. Using this with RLO All In One, and didn't see (or at least notice) any lighting flickers, but one thing I have to give extra kudos for is fairly simple but gorgeous.

Fact that the home requires you to actually buy the upgrades doesn't seem like a huge thing, but it really ties in the "vanilla plus" aesthetic quite a bit. Don't get me wrong, I love house mods that don't require it, so it was a nice and welcome change.

But, when I saw the house exterior at first, it looked abandoned. Forgotten. Unloved. Coming back with the first round of upgrades and seeing the light from inside streaming out of the windows? *chefkiss*

Had no issues with JK's Skyrim either before or after upgrades, it simply, as God Howard said in the sacred texts, "It Just Works."

Think anyone who plays a Vampire at all could put this to use, even if they wanted to not work with the Dawnguard and instead carryon their own hunts solo.

thank you so much for the kind words!!! i really, really appreciate it <3

the garden upgrade also adds a fence and gate that wasn't there before too. i poured a lot of love into this one since Honeyside is my favorite house regardless of playing as a vampire or any faction choices. eventually i want to make different themes for it

i also use JK's Skyrim btw! what's "RLO" All In One? that's realistic lighting i think right? i use ELFX but if you notice any incompatibilities please lemme know so i can add a compatibility patch

Yeah, saw the gate as well, and thought this could very well be a nice potential Garden of Death perhaps, like a small trapdoor or the like leading down to a small "Hunter's Armoury" where you can keep any Vampiric Relics you take and have a Shrine of Meridia "watching" them making sure they remain locked away from doing harm to innocents ever again. Have SMIM going as well to fix a myriad of issues, and I *think* JK's changes the gate a tad, or just too used to seeing it at this point I've forgotten what Skyrim even looks like unmodded. But I do really like the larger crypt vibe the stone walls and such have with the gate. Took forever to even look down enough to notice I could plant anything in the soil. Was looking around for any potential clipping and the like.

And yes, RLO is Realistic Lighting Overhaul. I have your mod placed directly above the RLO - Exteriors ESP, as well as above the patch for JK's Skyrim with Tamriel Master Lights, as I keep the "vanilla" house mod overhauls sandwiched between the Interiors and Exteriors ESPs, and its worked fairly smoothly thus far. Would use LOOT, but it just has a bad effect with me and moving things in a weird way with some plugins that causes rather horrid conflicts at times, so been doing my own surgery of trial and error.

You're quite welcome. Got the Dawnguard as a Vampire mod and saw this pop up and seemed to be the best. Though, I suppose the only "conflict" would be one I was testing to put a trapdoor in the lower level of Honeyside that led to the Shadowfoot Sanctum Creation Club house by Elianora. But honestly, it doesn't really need the basement as is from what I can tell. Have all the same crafting stations packed into the smaller space in logical locations, and tends to make the inner OCD storage freak in me fairly happy to have things fairly close by and not have to run around the house remembering where I left some circlets I wanted to do a quick enchant to sell off or whatever.

Even works perfectly fine with the Banners of Skyrim mod (using the damaged Dawnguard retexture as my current go to atm) so it looks like your Vampire could very well have taken it from the ruins a good while ago and have it up before Isran and his merry band of misfits even show up.

i use SMIM too so if there's any bugs in a vanilla game i wouldn't really notice them
also i've been reading up on lore and Meridia is arguably just as terrifying as Molag Bal so i might replace the worship statue (and update the vampiric dawn tenets) with Arkay and possibly changing the Auriel statue due to Auriel's beliefs with the undead
      Spoiler:
      Show
"As with most Princes, Meridia sees mortals as "assets" primarily for use as a means to an end. Meridia can bestow upon mortals immortality, at the cost of their will, becoming those known as the Purified; slaves to her command, cleansed of disease, death, and free will."

      (spoiler'd just in case)
i'm working on my "dawnguard as a vampire" playthrough right now currently so keep an eye out for possible updates o/

And Auri-El is the Aldmeri analog to Akatosh, which as far as I can figure, seems a tad out of place in a predominantly Nordic province, not withstanding the close borders to Cyrodill to the South, and Morrowind to the East. So could very well be more of a Cyrodillic Pantheon in terms of influence, with Akatosh and Arkay. Akatosh possibly being used as that is the "God of Time" and Vampires tend to be immortal, so it would further deny Molag Bal the worship and praise for said immortality by devoting it to an Aedric God.

Though, seems to be a possible conflict with Arkay in a manner, as there could be some ties with a Vigilant type arm with the whole "Sanctify the Dead" aspect. And a Vampire is very much...dead. Well, Undead, but still.

I did finally run into a few issues on a more thorough look. First, and likely the largest, was the weapon plaques. I tested the one to the left (as you are facing the main door in the bedroom) and it seemed to allow placement of infinite weapons to it. I had a pickaxe, a woodcutter axe, and one of the Daggers of Riften I'd gotten with the modded Thane rewards bit.

Other issue, which is very likely on my end entirely, is the Dawnguard warhammer to the left of the door was sunk into the floor by a bit. Likely that is due to my use of mods like LeanWolf's Better Shaped Weapons changing the meshes your mod has references to for the decor.

Only RLO related issue (which may be the other issue that is purely my problem due to RLO being loaded higher than the house mod) was a small bit of flashing with the goat horn on the wall affixed to the skull. Light emitter seems to totally shut off at a certain angle, then when I looked down by just an inch, it popped back. Again, very likely something on my end. I'll pin the few snaps I took to the mod page, or plug them to you in DMs with the link if you want.

All three of these, not just the last two are likely my own issue. But the one I can't for the life of me explain is there being I believe I counted 6 fertile soil nodes, the last two of which are halfway beneath the wall. Not as much of a "bug" I'd say, as it could be an unintended feature just to add some bit of custom flavour to the wall with having snowberries growing, or mushrooms, etc. Again, thats likely something I'd bump down to an unintended feature, because this is still Bethesda, and if they can do it, modders can do it better, eh? Unfortunately, I've not gotten too far at all into trying to "break" the Dawnguard as a Vampire as of yet. But any potential to expand on the options to use the expanded perk trees I have going for Werewolves and Vampires, I'm all for trying. Think it would fit better having the typical sneak Vampire be a Hunter, as the heavy plating clinks in the snow and lets every Vampire hear them coming for miles. And an excuse to use Honeyside fits in well, especially if one is also a member of the Guild, as using your Blade analogy, "We ain't exactly the March of Dimes." so all that funding has to come from somewhere.

are you using the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch? that's the only thing i can think of that might cause issues with the weapon racks
can we move this to DMs btw? that'd be easier
i didn't intentionally add any fertile soil, the plants are all static in the house other than the hanging frost miriam and garlic in the kitchen, so i'm not sure what the fertile soil nodes are about

as for the lore consistency i'll have to read more into it, because i'm not sure how it'd work since Auriel had forsaken Vyrthur entirely for becoming a vampire. as for Akatosh and Arkay all the nine divines (Talos included in this sentence) are worshipped throughout skyrim so i'm not sure if that'd be a problem
