A hardy Nord preset for COTR. I was going for the kind of Nord who eats elves for breakfast and rides a bear to work, axe in hand. Now he can be whoever you want.

Since this is mostly just a head preset, it should work with any body that is compatible with COTR (including vanilla and nevernude options), but without some effort on my part (or the user's) the appearance of the body may turn out differently. I've made SAM and HIMBO versions.

If you would like to use this preset in a follower mod, or NPC replacer, feel free; as long as there's some thanks/credit, I don't mind. At the end of the day this is just a preset. It's the result of much more serious modding efforts made by much more serious mod authors. All I did was spend a handful of hours in a menu moving sliders.

That said, that doesn't give anyone permission to re-upload this preset as-is, or after changing minor colors, details, or slider values. If you use it as a base for your own publicly shared presets, actually make it your own first. Thanks.

Hard Requirements (3):
RaceMenu
For customizing your character with extended sliders and improved UI.
COTR - HQ Characters Creation Addon for RM
For the head/face. This preset won't work at all without this.
The SAM Patch in the downloads for COTR is redundant/not required for this preset.
Just choose the base version for CBBE or UNP.
Note: High Poly Head and COTR can be used at the same time.
COTR uses custom copies of vanilla races, so it is completely standalone and will not conflict with mods that affect the vanilla races.
Charmers of the Reach (COTR) - Custom Male Body Patch and Addons
The main file, COR Custom Male Patch. Without this, you will have a really ugly neck-seam.

For HIMBO version, you need (+3):
Schlongs of Skyrim or The New Gentleman
+
HIMBO
+
Tempered Skins for Males - Vanilla and SOS Versions 
(Or any other body texture w/ a COTR patch.)
Install SOS versions.

For SAM version, you need (+3):
SAM Light
Default body textures. Not on Nexus. 
+
SAM High Poly Conversion
High poly body meshes. Not on Nexus. 
+
SAM Morphs for RaceMenu
Necessary if you want my preset's custom body shape. Not on Nexus.


THAT'S IT FOR A BASIC INSTALLATION...



Recommendations (for the full appearance):
Hvergelmir's Beards
HQ beard textures.
Beards of Power
For the beard model, which I hand-sculpted into place.
(Any other non-vanilla beards probably won't fit to the COTR face unless you do the same or it comes with a patch).
ApachiiSkyHair (Unique Male Styles)
For the hair shown in the images, you only need the Unique Male Styles.
The Main Unisex plugin is not required.
Charmers of the Reach (COTR) - Custom Male Body Patch and Addons
Main file already a hard requirement, but get the COR Male Addons file from the downloads section as well
if you want the eyes and brows used in my preset.
Northborn Scars and Skin Feature Overlays
For face and body scars, and other skin details.
Community Overlays 1, Community Overlays 3, and Yvengar Bodypaint
For the full set of body, feet, and hands tattoos.

Extra Recommendations For SAM:
SavrenX Schlongs of SAM Light - Continuation
Schlongs of Skyrim utilization for SAM Light. Not on Nexus.
SAM Light Texture Addon
For even higher quality textures. Not on Nexus.
SavrenX Muscular Body Map

What's Included in the Download Options Here:

One RaceMenu preset for the NORD DZ Race with tattoos for SAM.
One RaceMenu preset for the NORD DZ Race without tattoos for SAM.
One head sculpt for Race Menu import.
Pack 1.

One RaceMenu preset for the NORD DZ Race without tattoos for HIMBO.
You can add the same or different tattoos to this preset yourself using the Nexus mods mentioned above.
One Bodyslide preset for HIMBO.
One head sculpt for Race Menu import.

INSTRUCTIONS on how to configure kartoffel's
CUSTOM MALE BODY PATCH:

The Queen made a video herself, if you prefer that over words and images (or in addition to):




STEP 1: Install the COR Custom Male Patch file,
from the downloads section of the mod page.



In the installer, choose "Everything Else" and...

For HIMBO users:
Choose Tempered Skins compatibility.
(Obviously, choose Vitruvia if you are using it instead.)

For SAM users:
Choose SAM Light compatibility.


STEP 2: Open up the files installed by your chosen body retexture,
as well as the files added by COR Custom Male Patch.


COPY your chosen body texture files, as shown above, and PASTE them into
the COR Custom Male Patch file-path:
Data/textures/!COR_Male/body
Say yes to any overwrite confirmations.



STEP 3: Do the same for your body meshes.


Copy-paste them into:
Data/meshes/!COR_Male/Body

For HIMBO users:
These will be the files generated after building my preset (or whatever you prefer) in Bodyslide.

For SAM users:
These will be the files from SAM High Poly Conversion...
Unless you chose to use SavrenX's Schlongs of SAM Light - Continuation,
in which case they will be located in that mod's files.



STEP 4: Do the same for your hand and feet meshes.



Again, copy-paste them into (same place as body meshes):
Data/meshes/!COR_Male/Body
Say yes to any overwrite confirmations.

For HIMBO users:
These will be the files from HIMBO's Core installation file.

For SAM users:
These will be the files from SAM High Poly Conversion.



STEP 5: Adding Schlongs of Skyrim to a custom race:
Note: This only applies if you chose nude installations for HIMBO
Or the SavrenX Schlongs of SAM - Continuation addon for SAM Light.



Open the MCM menu for Schlongs of Skyrim.
Select Player/NPC Settings.
Click on the option dubbed "No Schlong."
Select whatever option you prefer.
Accept the warning.
Exit the MCM



Done.
