I apologize for being an idiot but when I try to open any of Vicn's skill trees in any way they don't open, whether it's with the custom skill menu the inventory item or the world object it just won't open.
Edit: I fixed it, under C:/Program files (x86)/steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim special edition/data/netscriptframework/plugins find the .config file for the skill tree you want (it works on all of them like "prelude to purgatory") and in it you should find something like this #------------------------------------------------------------------ # Global Valiable : Skill Level - zUDSkillLevel #------------------------------------------------------------------ LevelFile = "Perk-Unarmoured.esp" LevelId = 0xD61
find it and add #LevelFile = "" #LevelId = 0
at the bottom so it looks like this #------------------------------------------------------------------ # Global Valiable : Skill Level - zUDSkillLevel #------------------------------------------------------------------ LevelFile = "Perk-Unarmoured.esp" LevelId = 0xD61 #LevelFile = "" #LevelId = 0
When I try to activate the statue nothing happens. I have all the requirements and other custom skills work fine. It's only this one that doesn't do anything when I try to use the statue.
Install Config file properly. If translated Config file is not UTF-8, re-save by UTF-8. If you are using AE, ask in the forum of CSF because AE seems to have a unique bug,.
Ok Thank you! I love your mods! I finished Vigilant and I loved it so much! I'm playing Glemoril right now and I am loving it so far. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
yes these all work but you have to edit a file and add some commented lines. This is true for ALL of the custom skill menu stuff now. Check the comments section on the custom skills framework page. I did it and it works. Combining this with the bruce lee moves for some ORC KUN DO
I assume the reason why some of us can't open the perk tree is because of the recent update on the custom skills framework, which now doesn't require .NetscriptFramework anymore.
So I've been messing around with this mod a lot at its awesome I've been trying to mess around with the talismans and am struggling to figure out a reason to use the talisman of the mage. Unless im wrong or its not working properly I thought maybe this would give a boost that counts as "robes" which would be awesome for the alteration perk Energy shield in the Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim mod though I don't see a way that could be beneficial to the main game. I'm not entirely sure how easily that could be programmed in but just a suggestion unless I'm an idiot/my game is bugged and that's how its supposed to work.
side not I'm not using robes on my character as to why I don't already have the robe bonus and this would allow for the naked wiseman perk to gain this benefit.
Suggestion here consider adding some kind of override power for the unarmored check.
I get issues when using outfit mods where using the clothing variations still counts as wearing armor. Meaning I can't benefit from the skill tree. That would bee a really nice debugging tool to have. Rather than just hoping to find a work around for the checking system.
Hey i'm having a problem with running your mod on AE, everything seems to work but when i go to open the skill tree it doesn't open no matter what I do, help?
You gain a skill point for Unarmoured Defense every 4 levels. the count starts at zero, but you start off at level 15 with a new game. the 3 skill points are from levels 4, 8 and 12. They are only "free" because your UD skill starts at 15 instead of zero.
