This is Experimental. I removed the USSEP requirement and checked for errors and found none. I don't use VR or have access to it, so I will rely solely on user feedback as to whether this even works for VR. Your feedback will be necassary for any fixes or updates.
Wow. This 2.2.2 broke my game hard. CTD on loading saves made with this version. The saves won't even load in Resaver.
My fault, shouldn't have trusted it without checking it on a cloned install. Shouldn't have played for hours with it ignoring the "missing esp" message, usually not a problem when saving immediately after. Again my fault. Just warning others.
If you are on VR DO NOT instlall this update without taking precautions.
I made an error and uploaded a version with VR in the name of the esp. I have corrected that oversight. I changed the name so USMP VR would use all the patches for the normal USMP. It is in the changelog and in the stickied note directly above your post. You could have simply changed the name back if the problem is only the name change. If the problem is more then the name change can u provide some more details so I can look into it?
For those who still want to use USSEP in VR, here is a download link to the last version that was compatible with Skyrim VR: https://old.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/npy5gy/ussep_412a_legal_torrent/
I was a little curious about that myself. I've been using Skyrim VR - USSEP 4.2.2 and SSE 1.5.97 Compatibility Patch with the latest version of USSEP in VR for a long time now and haven't noticed any issues with it. From my understanding the patch doesn't even have anything to do with USSEP, it just simply updates all of SkyrimVR's base game files (Plugins & BSAs) up to date to match SSE so it could be compatible with SSE mods. The only conflict with USSEP it has that I know of is chargen referenced in the SkyrimVR.esm, which can easily be patched in SSEEdit. So I always find it a little odd that people use old versions of USSEP for VR. Unless there is something I'm missing?
Everything fired off fine no errors to start or game play so far , got jumped by some lads called torbin the sword binder and his friend in winterhold , never seen em before and stripped they had chain mail boxers on . so i assume they were generated by this mod . I saw you removed the ussep requirement but i run a older version of usssep that is perfect most VR users do not have the compatible version . I got mine before the dec 2020 anti vr version was released . I will b at it as much as i may to look for changes and anomalies . vr really is not too distant from sse . I have been using sse to generate my characters , porting the saves to VR and have been doing so for a good many playthroughs to no error
I don't think Torbin comes from this mod. I have never seen a reference to him. I didn't originate the mod, so there are some things I don't know, but I have been using it for a long time and never seen Torbin and friends. What is the version of USSEP you have. I have a few older versions and some older USLEEP versions as well. I didn't realize that USSEP couldn't be used in VR until a month ago, and had no idea that it was only the latest versions. I don't know why they would bother making an anti-VR version. They could just not support it. I actually only released USMP VR because I found out that VR users wouldn't be able to use it otherwise. I have no problem releasing it on the assumption that you are on your own in it's use.
using sse 4.2.5a with a compatibility patch from nexus , i call it anti vr because of the errors it causes to vr game . never seen torbin before either does not mean he has not been hiding in my game waiting for the right time to strike . just had not seen boxers in months . somebody uploaded a older ussep version for VR on nexus a month back and it got taken down in 5 min and they got banned . its back up elsewere now though. so id keep the vintage ones off of here
There weren't a lot of edits, and I bet then that the USMP SE version would be ok for someone who has an older ussep. No I know better then to upload somebody elses mod without perms. I was thinking of making it compatible to an old version, but not everyone will have an old version available. There where only 8-10 minor edits anyway.

Skyrim VR - USSEP 4.2.2 and SSE 1.5.97 Compatibility Patch?
SE users should use the Unofficial Skyrim Modder's Patch - USMP SE?
I will no longer be supporting the Seperate VR version. Instead all future versions will be the regular SE version and will require Skyrim VR - USSEP 4.2.2 and SSE 1.5.97 Compatibility Patch. This page will however remain available for those who wish to use it. All future bug fixes and additions will happen there.

In case it matters, yes this is 100% legal.
