This is a texture pack that replaces all 31,947 textures in the entire game with cleaned versions of the original with most of it upscaled and packed them into the Skyrim Textures 0 - 8 BSA's so they are the absolute first things loaded and overwritten. And I also made sure not to pass the 2GB limit on BSA files and worked within those limits.

These are all nothing but cleaned and AI upscaled textures to make the cleanest and least intrusive starting point possible to build off of and honestly still looks pretty good by itself. So they should be 100% compatible with everything and 100% in the vanilla style as they are the vanilla textures.

The only real ways to improve this would be for someone to actually make the textures from scratch at the same resolution as further upscaling would go beyond the file limits. The 9 BSA files max out at 2GB each and they are all already up to 1.64-1.7GB each with this, so not much further you can safely take it.

I thank IconicDeath, Kartoffels, DrJacopo, and  T4gtr34um3r for their work on this and this part I also have free and open permissions.

As far as the VRAM, I had Afterburner loaded while running it and started from the Helgen Cave and walked to Riverwood while taking these screenshots on a setup where I didn't load up any mod manager and instead removed the retail BSA's entirely and replaced them with my own to ensure it was only this and my GPU never used more than 3.6GB of VRAM the entire time using this and virtually all of it is twice vanilla resolution. This was just with the Textures only version, not the LoD one yet. But even Windhelm didn't break but 4,233MB.

I have slightly altered how I created this given the updates since I originally made it. It now goes as followed.

First I started with  Cleaned Skyrim SE Textures, I extracted their set of cleaned textures to use as the base. This replaced EVERYTHING with cleaned textures.

Then I took all of his SSEUT collections which were upscaled versions and took the x2 sets and layered it on top of what I started with.

Then I used Project Clarity AIO - Skyrim Textures Redone, I used the Half-Resolution version. There is no real chance of the x4 resolution fitting within the limits of the games BSA files.

Then I applied Cathedral - Plants & Cathedral - Mushrooms

And my first release also had a version that included Terrain LOD redone but I have not included it in the recent release. But the old release is still there.

Then I made sure to prune away any loose files that wasn't part of what was original game BSAs and packed them. These are files that mod authors inadvertently leave when they are working on it.  Getting rid of them did no damage and neither did having them short of taking up a little more space.

After all of that, I broke the texures folder into section and us BSArch to compress them into roughly equally sized BSA files that replace the retail ones.

While this isn't exactly what I would fully envision for this project, its a nice one regardless I think.
