    This mod and it's MCM broke for me as well (AE ver. 1170). I just realized while testing my main combat mods, stance - addon was completely busted with all attacks dealing zero damage in low/mid/high stance in addition to the MCM not not showing up, not even on new saves with MCM kicker. I took a look in ReSaver (Fallrim Tools - Save Game Scalpel) with a fresh save file on  my load order and it had this to say:

    Missing member data
    This savefile has zeroed canaries. The cause of this seems to be
    related to script memory limits but it is not clear; Kinggath named
    it the 'canary error' if you want to search for more information. (1
    items)
    After some painful hours, I deduced that having specifically moreHUD installed with this was causing the bug, which is bizzare to me since I've used that same version of moreHUD with Stances - Addon the entire time  back in ver. 640 of AE and even before MCO with ABR and SkySA in 5.9.7. It's likely more post-update carnage from Bethesda poking the UI for Creations.

    I hope this helps someone with any potential issues, it was a real issue for me since half my combat is built around this. (Thank you, Ashen much love :D)

      I wanted to make a reply to this post to inform any lurking users that moreHUD Inventory without base moreHUD works just fine with Stances - Addon. The MCM is there and everything. Was testing this because I began to slowly realize how futile it was to use LOTD without Curators Companion with my modlist XD.

      Additionally Comprehensive Attack Speed Fixes and Perk Point Extender Seems to work fine as well, despite what I've read in another comment.

    A strange problem has occurred. No matter how high/medium/low I switch, it will not bring any buff/debuff, even if I modify various values in MCM. And there is no buff/debuff in the activation effect
    After updating the latest version, the buff effect is displayed. But it cannot be modified in the MCM menu, and no matter what is modified, it will eventually revert back to its original state

      Tried MCM Kicker?

      Does the rest of the mod actually function? Ie. can you see your attack speed changing for each stance?

      I have the same problem the MCM is not showing at all. The MCM of the original stances mod is working though. The main issue however is that after a few hits the damage of every weopon goes to 0.

      It wont load unless you start a new game unless that MCM kicker thing forces it load. How it worked for me anyway

      I have the same issue, I have used this for months with 0 issues, then the MCM dissapears.

      Its surely a mod conflict, I've loaded a bunch of new stuff over the months.

      Ill report back if I find the mod that its conflicting with.

      I'm having the same problem with the mcm menu for the add-on not appearing and also having 0 damage when switcing stances.
      I think the cause is because I'm using Anniversary Edition skyrim so might be a compatibility issue as I've started new mods setup/new game and with MCM Kicker.

      I am now having this issue (no MCM) after previously having no problems whatsoever with this mod.

      This mod worked perfectly about a month ago and the MCM always showed up. I have PapyrusUtil and only have about 28 MCM menus, I've even installed MCM Kicker and started multiple new games but nothing works.

      Probably a mod conflict, I've loaded a bunch of new mods since then. I'll try to disable new stuff until this mod works again I guess? I'll try to remember to check back in and report my findings.

      I've been keeping an eye on this. I'm still at a loss for any possible changes I could make. The mcm hasn't been implemented differently from any of my other mcm's and I've never had issues with any of them appearing.
      Should new information become available, an update will follow promptly.

      Thanks for the quick response Ashen.

      I want to be clear, your mod was working fantastically when I started fresh this month, so it is clearly no wrongdoing from your part or from your mod.I had at most 20 mods, including Stances, your addon, and PapyrusUtil, and I was able to see your MCM and tinker with the settings no problem. I remember playing with it for about an hour and it worked great the whole time.

      Since then I've installed ~100 mods and only now is this issue is presenting, clearly there is some previously unknown compatibility/conflict issue. I have to go through a somewhat slow process of disabling my mods by half then half etc until I find the mod(s) causing the incompatibility.

      I don't wish to advertise other mods on your page, but I have an even stranger situation that may at least give us some clues. In a desperate move I replaced your addon temporarily with Stances - Dynamic Animation Sets (Addon) Expanded, and the MCM from THAT mod (a copy of your MCM with extra options) does show up, even on my fully modded list. However, only some of the settings can be changed in the MCM. For example, in high stance, if I change the Attack Speed Debuff? to 20% (to match your mod) and exit the MCM menu, it does not save the value.

      I am a bit of a rookie modder so I don't know what all this means, but I will continue to investigate my list throughout the day and try to find the conflicting mod.?

      In a strange twist, the aforementioned expansion mod I linked was placed incorrectly by loot. Once it was placed below the Stances master mod, it worked as expected.

      I am still trying to nail down what caused your original (and more streamlined) addon to fail suddenly with my mod list, but for now I will be going with this solution temporarily. Regardless I think it is a small issue that does not detract from your mod in the slightest.

      I am having the exact same issue as you guys, no MCM + my weapons don't do any damage when using the stances.

      Same issue here. I tried MCM Kicker, tried using the Expanded Addon instead, and tried making a completely new game. No luck.

      Same here, no MCM, no Damage (for me and enemies as well).
      ReSaver said the scripts are orphaned/not attached to anything. Same with the expanded addon 
      I guess that the add-on just dont work for "AMR" stance framework because of different DAR folder structure or because of SkySa animations (different animation file names), in wich case this mod can't recognize the animations, this would also explain the 0 damage output because no animations (which this mod can work with) = no damage.
      However this would not explan the no mcm problem.
      I hope my guesswork is helpful.

      I will try uncheck the amr sfw and setup the normal stance framework with vanilla animations later to look if its work then. If not something else is messes up the scripts of this mod.

      It seems the MCM fails to execute the import of the JSON / FISS settings.
      That seems to block the correct completion and activation of the MCM.
      Moreover, at least in my case, the mod generates a lot of suspended stacks in the OnPlayerLoadGame and OnObjectEquipped events.
      It's probably a conflict, I wish I could me more helpful but I have too many mods to find out the correct one.
      At least I hope this feedback can be useful. Thanks for your work in any case!

      Thanks, I'll take another look at this. I can already see how to make improvements to the OnObjectEquipped() event & handling.

      Going off plerf's comment, i deleted both "Stances - Add On.json" and "StancesPersonal.xml" (the FISS settings file) and the MCM showed up without problems on a new game. I'm not certain if it works on a current save, but if anyone is still having trouble, you could try this.

      Going off Minoschur's comment, deleting the json (I don't have the xml) also works for me on a new save. It won't work on a current save though, cuz loading an existing save with the json deleted makes me CTD.

      I've deleted my old saves so I cannot recreate it now lol.

      Sorry my English is bad, I might have expressed it incorrectly but the intention of my last post was not to complain about the CTD but to help someone if needed, like the dude before me Minoschur did.

      Anyway I'm glad to see that CTD must be some conflicts just on my end so people can solve the no-mcm issue on an existing save. Thank you for this great mod :)

      + no mcm no damage aside from crits - i would love a solutioni think stances + this mod is a game changer (im running simonrim suite).

    Been playing on a save for while, thinking all was well and only today started to see some real slowdowns and MCM glitches. Finally looked at things in Resaver and it seems from the very start of this play through instances of DASSP_PlayerLoadGameAlias from this mod have been bloating the save. Saves are up to 1,236 active instances running now. Annoyingly, I had forgotten I had Stances Add-On installed so I've been playing for all this time without taking advantage of it.

    Any possibility to salvage this save or is it time to hit New from the main menu again? (Almost all DASSP stacks are suspended, which I think means terminating/deleting is a guarantee to break the save?)

      Are you able to provide any additional info? The most likely culprit looks like it might be an excess of equip events, but if it isn't that then I don't see what could possibly cause issues.

      Sorry, not much else I can say. Like I said, I had actually forgotten I had this so I had never changed stances. I do have Stances SPID, which gives stances to NPCs. But, happy to try out anything on a fresh save you think might help triangulate on a culprit and report back.

      In terms of equip events, I am running Immersive Equipment Displays but I don't know if that actually does anything that'd trigger events or if it is only a visual thing. Would NPCs equipping things impact Add-On in any way, for example NFF auto-removing helmets, Follower Death Chance equipping bandages?

    This was the mod that got me to set up stances in the first place, & it has been such an adventure. I cannot imagine playing Skyrim without having different stances, animations for each, & mechanical distinction between them anymore. It was not without headaches, getting it all to work, but I enjoy the hell out of every encounter now because the thought always crosses my mind, 'which stance works best here?' It was worth it. 100x, It was worth it!
    Thank you for your contribution to the Stances mods in my list. I can't say enough how much I love this mod.
    If I could wish for features, a buff to outgoing stagger in high stance & a nerf to outgoing stagger in low stance, & an incoming stagger increase nerf in low stance.

    I'm using this Simonrim Attack Speed fix from Adamant, this mod's mcm is there and accessible, the stats are changed with each stance. But the attack speed is shown the same at Character Sheet.
    Is this normal with ADXP MCO? I know the Distar Experience MCO is making speed constant, unless the animation's speed is changed with annotation tools. But still, I'm curious. And of course, thanks for the mod! It is, and still better than regular mco.

    I've read somewhere that someone get suggested by Simon (Adamant's creator) that stamina regen value (50%) is roughly have the same weight as 10% attack speed. So there is that, this mod already have mcm setting to tweak that. Thanks again.

    This seems to have an incompatability with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/89042 and its requirement im guessing https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/91192 just noticed today my MCM vanished and after removing these 2 mods it showed up again

    This mod overides my previous animations mods, even when i am in neutral stance or high/low/mid stance, for example, i have mofu 1 handed animations normaly, but when i instaled the stances mod all atacks either i am in neutral or any stance will be from the default stances movesets, this is supose to hapen?

      Check if anything else is editing the stances? This mod does make changes to records in the parent mod so it's possible there is a conflict happening somewhere?

      I desinstalled stances to check, even with the stances mod desinstaled one handed animation are still the ones for the stances mod, i tried reinstall or install other 1 handed animations over but even this don't change anything, this coud be a problem with the open animation replacer? something like priority, i need a light to solve this

    I'm not sure if I'm just stupid or not, but whenever I try to edit the values for Attack Speed Buff/Debuff, Movement Speed Buff/Debuff, and Stamina Regeneration Buff/Debuff; it all just keeps going back to 0. Any idea why this is a thing?

      you just have to put Stances - Add-On.esp below Stances - Dynamic Weapon Movesets SE.esp in priority
