So am rather excited with this update, you guys have given me many great ideas & suggestions but the one thing everyone asks for is customers and income. After a bunch of hard work I think I have cracked a decent customer set up.
Main Changes: -Customers & Income: So I've added a bunch of customers that'll come in, spend some time drinking, eating, sleeping & minor chats. As this is the Traveller's Inn and is the perfect place for adventure's to take a break or pit stop on their journeys, so customers are naturely experianced and knowledgeable speaking to them can have some benifits :) Each customer has their own times they'll come and go and unique skills. Small side note, some might be thinking well that is not alot of customers for such a big place, but I set it that way because if your like me you'll have followers or a family there that will fill up the place which will balance out well.
Regarding Income I've added a strongbox in the bar area that'll generate a weekly(10days) income of gold, the amount of gold you earn is based on your level so not to be game breaking, so higher you are the more gold you'll earn. I'll add a section detailing each customer.
Minor Changes: -Added Riverwood to the Fast Travel map -improvements to idle markers to help with customers. -Fixed a few tiny cosmetic holes and gliches around the interior -Changed the starting letter to fit with you just strolling on in and taking over.
Customers:
Olivia is a fierce Breton Markswoman who can train you (stays 12am to 12pm)
Elora is a cunning Imperial Theif who can fence your goods (stays 6pm -12am)
Chemsky is a Breton who has a way with words (stays 12pm-12am)
Masamune is a friendly Redgaurd giant who is unmatched in the art of smithing (stays 12pm to 12am)
Rosalee is genius High Elf in the art of destruction (stays 3pm-12am)
Alianna is gifted in enchanting but what she is, is yet to be known (stays 7am to 12pm)
Della is a talented Dark Elf in Alchemy (stays on the terrace 9am-12am)
Inoashi is a Khajit that is extremely light on their feet (stays 12am - 12pm)
Gul'dan ???????????????? (note dont get on his bad side) (shows up at midnight till Dawn)
If you decide your not happy with how the customers look, try out NPC Appearance Changer Also if you decide you dont want customers stick with version 1.3
Known Issue: Some people reporting that grace sings none stop I'll sort her out next update, quick fixes are talk to her and then she should back off afterwards, concole disable or she is not essential........(Personally havent had this issue)
I've done my best with my current skill set to bring this Inn alive since no one is willing to aid me in the scripting side of things. As always feel free to share your feedback, suggestings & ideas! Please Enjoy! :)
Yet again, I'm reinstalling this great mod due to an update that killed off my other game. I'd been away doing other "things" for about a year. So I read the description. I'd forgotten about the vault. so much so, that I've never even used it in previous play throughs. DOH* me! 8-((...
It's not that I didn't know about it. It's just that I read it, then I start playing the game and THEN I forget about it when I get there 8-))... It's an age thing. When you get into your 60's, and you're a sad git for still playing PC games (But I don't care!), you do start to forget the little things... And some of the "not so little things" too. ;-))... And to be fair, the vault's at the end of a corridor which looks just like a stone wall. So you've stopped to go into the other rooms before you get there.
When someone makes a Zimmer Frame MOD for and aging Dragonborn, I'm going to download that 100%. But it'll come with theses essentials too. Walking Sticks - Ear Horn - Knee Blanket - Wheelchair - Et al ;-))...
I'd be up for an old Dovahkiins home. We can all set around and trade stories. Maybe even have a Nazeem hour for those who would like to discuss all the ways they did or wanted to do to end him lol. Throw in some Dwemer style mobile units so we can have races....hmm now I want to learn how to make mods just to do this :)
Of course. If you've got an Old Dovahs home, then it still needs husky looking male nurses wearing tight shorts for those elderly female Dovahs and cute, gorgeous looking female nurses wearing very short mini skirts for those old male Dovahs 8-))...
I hear there are mods for that. lol. That means that I would have to actually go looking for a good clean skin mods for males. Stopped looking a few years back. Buuuut, with the new engine coming out you never know what might happen. Then again it would mean I would have to sacrifice game time for learning how to do actually make mods rather then how to break them :D Maybe in a few months once everyone else has had a chance to test out the new engine lol
I'm not saying that this mod itself is ridiculous; it's not only very well done, but is also one of the less-common kind of player home that is integrated into a functional area for non-follower NPCs. The wall-mounted display cases, as others have mentioned, are a very elegant way to save space without losing functionality, and this is the first time I've seen restaurant-style booth seating in either a tavern or player home mod (and it's implemented very believably).
My previous comment was merely an (unsolicited?) observation that since I keep finding myself unable to give up a very nice player home mod - even if it's practically within spitting distance of another one - I ended up having 9 properties filling the southeast corner of Whiterun Hold.
Looove the mod. Only thing I'd change is perhaps more "immersive" implementation. Something like: you meet npc in Riften who sells you an old inn. You restore the place ( nothing too extreme: just remove some clutter and clean it up a bit), hire a barkeep and few maids for work, and then you slowly start gaining income. Over time, npc customer number increases and occassion more important npcs show up.
Fantastic home space, perfect for putting together a small army of followers! I am having one issue, I think, when loading into the cell however. The lighting is pretty bright, not unbearably so, but it's certainly not the warm dim lighting that your description shows off. Is this just because we're using different enbs or has anyone else encountered this? I do have Enhanced Lights and Effects installed but it's loading FAR after this mod.
Definatly, down enbs and lighting, I've seen a bunch of videos people upload and most are fine then 1-2 are like mega bright. I can't remember if and which Enbs and lighting mods I had at the time sadly as I haven't played skyrim in years now.

The version that exclude customer still have Scarlett & Grace.
Maybe I'm being thick but I don't see this information in the description! Thanks.
EDIT: It looks like the answer might be in the pics so I'll give that a try.
Happy to hear you like it :)
