Conflicts with some complex material mods such as Complex Armory, which should I let win?

love the mod, been using it as a staple for most of my playthroughs. however I have a small issue which may stem from my inexperience with modding. the changed steel shield mesh is unwanted from my side, but even if it is deselected in the download options it still loads and shows up in game. using the "bigger shields" mod makes it revert to vanilla textures (by the way, I use vortex. I am scared of mo2. do not think that it should affect this)

does anyone know a solution to this?

Nice, but why some weapons are almost flat? Like 2D.
Elven sword is almost invisible, some other too .. compared to the rest, pretty tough, wide etc ..

Real swords are only few mm thick, otherwise it wouldn't cut, but split or just blunt force. War axes are often little thicker, but same principal.

I think you made a good call in making most of the battle-axes single-headed; Skyrim may ultimately be a fictional country, but it's still obviously largely based on Viking Age Scandinavia, in which all battle-axes, one or two-handed, were single-headed, so it makes perfect sense that any axes, one or two-handed, hailing from Skyrim, Solstheim, & Atmora would be single-headed (Which's why imo, you should do the same with Wuthrad).

That said, while they were rarer than any single-headed variant, double-headed battle-axes are a historical reality because a lot of the practical problems people have with them, like the being twice as heavy, aren't inherently true; I actually own & have used a double-headed woodcutting axe that only weighs 3.5 lbs; & a lot of the single-headed ones of the same size were of the same weight or even heavier.
Not only that, but Skallagrim here has noticed that himself along with a lot of other things about them in this video: https://youtu.be/IHvgG3UsYqI?si=pjxF37XHrB73B9Qe ; he also made a part two video talking about how, while still comparatively rare, double-headed battle-axes were more widespread historically than most people believe: https://youtu.be/JG0MFuWjQ7w?si=7rg5hQfEfkJrICWc

& finally, the Shivering Isles & its two subrealms of Mania, the Realm of the Aureals (Golden Saints), & Dementia, the realm of the Mazken (Dark Seducers), that the Golden Saint, Dark Seducer, Amber, & Madness equipment come from aren't based on any real world culture in particular (they're likely pieced together from elements of various real world cultures, which isn't the same as basing a fictional culture on a real world one); so while I agree with making the proportions believable, there's not really any reason the Amber, Dark Seducer, & Golden Saint battle-axes have to be single-headed instead of double-headed.

Some people may want them to be single-headed yes, but there's no doubt others like me who'd like them to simply be more realistically proportioned double-axes; that's why I think it'd be very cool if you made an optional version of the mod that simply reshapes the Amber, Dark Seducer, & Golden Saint battle-axes to be more realistically proportioned double-axes.

I'd also personally recommend making the Stalhrim mace head look like an actual mace head instead of just a downsized version of the vanilla head, kinda like you did with the Stalhrim Warhammer, & tweak the Mace of Molag Bals design so that the horns don't give it that lampshade shape that'd prevent the bulk of the head from striking the target, & thus compromise its damage potential realistically speaking.

    Good morning.

Hopefully this question has not been asked before (don't mean to waste your time): Given that PS4/5 mods now allow eternal assets, would you consider porting or allowing others to port this great mod for that system? This mod is incredible, and a lot of us PS4/5 players would love to use it. Thanks a ton for your work.

I have the problem with straps for axes/maces on left weapon floating in air. Its a problem with simple dual sheath. Simple Dual Sheath - Left Hand Vanilla Scabbards fixes this problem for me with vanilla weapons but not with this mod.

I am not sure how to fix the inverted scabbards. I'm at the point of ditching dual sheath and sticking with this mod. Any Ideas to make them work together?

Well after a bit of experimenting I found out 2 solutions. Either turn off scabbards in dual sheath ini, or fiddle with immersive equipment display nodes. Not perfect but will work.

I removed this mod to test out another texture for weapons. All the textures for the orc weapons are still using the ones from this mod even after uninstall, deletion and mod purge to vanilla game.  I use vortex for all downloads and do not manually install mods. Is there something specific for the orc weapons causing them to still be using this mod's textures even though the mod is deleted?

Did you pick 'Orcish patch' in Fomod, for Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes?
