About the House

The Cedarvale Estate on paper is a mod that adds a new player home to the game which is similar in build to the hearthfire homes but less broken and has more space (You also don't need to go through the painstaking process of building the thing).

The house features the following rooms:
  • Entry room
  • Dining room
  • Master Bedroom
  • Kitchen
  • Library
  • Alchemy room
  • Enchanting room
  • Display room
  • Cellar

The house has plenty of containers and beds and is a perfect fit for a collector or someone just looking for a place to rest and store their stuff. The house is fully furnished and decorated (None of the small misc items are static so you can move them around and take what you please, I personally hate when modders place static objects in this way). It is located west of Shor's Stone and is even visible from the town.

The house includes the following features:
  • 2 enchantment tables
  • 2 alchemy tables
  • full blacksmith workshop (Workbench, forge, smelter, grindstone)
  • an abundance of storage
  • several weapon racks
  • working mannequins
  • several display cases
  • working bookshelves
About the Quest
Upon first visiting the house you will find that all doors are locked. In order to gain access you must follow a quest that is started by reading a journal, belonging to an ancient scholar by the name of Osbeorn. The journal is located inside a secret compartment of the house (you must be level 30 or higher in order to get the journal if you enter before then the book will be missing). Once the quest starts you will embark on a journey that will ultimately lead you to the lost city of Halistar, a dungeon I created from scratch. Here you will face three bosses; the first one, Elder Maxim, is your typical nordic draugr boss found in his final resting place in carrying the key to a mysterious mine door found deep in the catacombs of Halistar. The second boss, Narsuses, is a dragon priest found in a massive cave deep underground, guarding the only weapon capable of destroying the final boss. The last boss Okan-Ei. is a former scholar turned corrupt villain who can only be harmed by using the unique weapon The Bludgeon of the Saints acquired previously in Halistar, he is found inside an abandoned museum that is located in a strange new world known as the Corroded Paradise.

Note: I have decided not to update the free version anymore at this point I have spend just as much time on the quest and I think it is an integral part of the final product if you REALLY don't want to play the quest you can unlock the doors through console commands.

Requirements

This mod requires all of the DLC's and the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.
