There seems to be a structure already where the house is supposed to be. it is Ruins, A circular set of columns with a table in the middle and a female mage who attacks me.
Are there any incompatable mods you know of? Both my friend and I are using Canliberks Mod collection with over 400 mods, we both have the same issue..not sure which may be causing this, pretty sure it was nothing I downloaded. I can post my mod list if it will help.
Edit, I tried this mod origininally about 2-3 months ago. Well, I just tried again and now it is there... not sure what I did to change anything... so "Nevermind" :-) Looks good so far
So, with just a quick look through this mod in xEdit, it looks like it touches/makes changes to an absurd amount of vanilla records for seemingly no reason at all.
I'm using the "free" version and it still has the quest records in it, however it also touches a great many INTERIOR cells (like Crystaldrift Cave, which was causing an infinite load screen in my load order, Dragonsreach, Old Hroldan Inn, Merryfair Farm, Ragged Flagon, etc). It also seems to make some changes to vanilla QUESTS as well, and not just a few. Hell, it even permanently changes the name of a vanilla quest item (the key to someone's house) to something completely unrelated.
Nice catch! This was a mistake I must've made ages ago without realizing it. This issue has been fixed in the new update (1.05) all the dirty edits are gone and Crystaldrift cave loads just fine now.
One of the biggest problems I've found with house mods is there isn't sufficient storage for all my crap, that was until I found this mod, I thought Yay, a good looking house, with a quest and loads of storage. It's unfortunate that there's a couple of mod breaking issues with it. 1st, the book is missing 2nd, I'm reading here that one of the npc's in the quest is set wrong, set to essential. I'm not a modder, I barely know any console commands, so consoling the book in, setting the npc to non essential is to me aggro. I just love playing the game. Sad but I've uninstalled it, I'll keep it on watch for the moment and if it's ever updated I'll reinstall it and thumbs it up..
Thanks for your response! With the update (1.05) the issue with the final boss has been fixed. He is no longer essential but can only be harmed using the unique weapon The Bludgeon of the Saints which is acquired after fighting the dragon priest.
I'm having trouble finding the Nordic Burial. Other posts mention a typo and not sure I'm searching the right area. I tried to reference the wiki page via the link in the description, but it says the site doesn't exist. Has the wiki been removed?
Edit: I finally found it. Since the wiki isn't working, I'll give a vague spoiler. Roughly in the area of Dushnikh Yal.
I like the mod I have tried 3 times to kill the last boss and cant even following everyone's advice about the essentials setting that should be fixed by the author not the player. I will follow this mod once you have this mod fixed I will try it again had fun following the quest.
so not sure why but the book to start the quest was missing for me i had to add it in not an issue just thought i would let you know everything else works great
This looks very nice. I'm just starting a new game (after years of not playing) & it's nice to see that new mods are being made. I haven't reached Cedarvale Place yet, but I look forward to exploring all it has to offer. Thank you for making this mod & sharing it with us!
Since you declared that you are open to ideas, why not placed a few NPCs or at least one or two guards for immersion purposes and make the house adoptable. It is sad when you own a house that big and can't even help to reduce the problems of orphans in Skyrim.
so far i have been having fun playing your mod. sadly the hammer isnt spawning on that stone pedestal so im stuck with the final boss unable to die. is there an item code?
Is the activator not working or is the weapon not present altogether? To get the weapon you can type player.additem xx0c7244 1 i'm not sure if it will still work properly if it is added this way. If you are unable to kill Okan then you can just type setessential xxc723f 0 and it should work. Let me know if you continue to have issues.
xx refers to where the mod is in your load order like in my case it's number 7 so xx is replaced with 07 if you cant find where the mod is in your load order you should be able to find it by typing help hammer 0 and it should give you the item Id.
so i may have messed up. before the last message i sent. i had clipped my way back up and out of the tomb because i figured i was stuck and would head back once i had an answer. well i managed to get the hammer after doing the code. now when i go back to the tomb, theres stone slabs blocking the doorway.
This was done intentionally so that you cannot access the tomb after the completion of the quest you should be able to type coc cvehalistar02 in the console to return to the dungeon.
Yes, I too would like this answered. I believe I saw two children beds in the images but does this house support six children with the multiple adoptions mod?
Currently it does not, I haven't really messed with this in-game so my knowledge on how this would work is currently null. Once I have a better understanding of how to do this I would be more than happy to add space.

What's the reason for all of this?...

If yes, how many?
It looks very nice and I would gladly use it but in my current playthrough I need a little space for the little ones. :)
