Do you use a map marker icon replacer? The "none" marker that you use is by default a red dot and it's quite weird, it would be nice to have it like yours. As a recommendation you could now use CoMap and select the Oblivion Gate map marker.
May i ask for a version that works as soon as activated? I love the soul cairn but I've done the dawn guard SOO many times , I would like to begin the game and skip straight to that portion of the game to fight undeads. Please consider
I got rid of Arthmoor's mod after I found: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/24104 don't think it does this tho, maybe a version that works with Atlas then?
There is already Castle Volikhar Balcony which is a map marker added by vanilla. Or would you skip the important Valerica study quarters?
Edit. Just ended DG main quest yesterday. I'm against some mods that transform Castle Volikhar strongly Valerica is a character kept secret from Dawnguard.
The map marker only gets added after you’ve been to the Soul Cairn. So you have still have to go through the study the first time. It’s a quality of life mod so you csn skip some load screens, not skip the quests.
It’s actually built-in. I was originally going to use the Solstheim marker. I accidentally forgot to choose an icon and found out that this is what it defaults to. I think it fits better because it reminds me of a portal.
