Mystique - Cortex Ice Mage Follower
Description
This mod adds Mystique, an ice mage follower. There is a short investigation quest to obtain Mystique as a follower. We don't want to say too much and don't want to give out any spoilers. The mod comes with a handy FOMOD-installer. English, German and Spanish versions are available.

Location:
Mystique is located at a small camp on the road leading east from Helgen. I recommend not trying to get Mystique until you are at least level 6.
Specifics:
Mystique is set essential and levels .9% of the player. No level cap.
Mystique begins at level 6.
She uses her own shout and destruction magic.
Mystique will heal you and your other followers. (Not her primary function so don't depend too heavily on it).
Mystique will accept whatever body you use. Her appearance will vary depending on body and textures used.
She will wear whatever you give her. She starts in Black Mage Robes.
Mystique comes with her own dagger. Free her and find her dagger under her enemies.
Yes you can marry Mystique.
Spell Tome: Call Mystique
Yes you can summon her from anywhere once you learn the spell.
Perks:
Specific to her combat style and to reduce magic cost of spells.
Mystique will be over-powered at first but should grow into the player soon.
How to install ?
Use a mod manager of your choice:
Mod Organizer 2, Nexus Mod Manager, Vortex:
Install as usual. Run the FOMOD-installer and choose your options.
Wrye Bash:
Not tested. The newest WB supports FOMOD installers. If it doesn't work you can use MO2 or NMM to pick your poison and repack the result as 7zip-file. After that you can install the new created archive in WB.
Manual installation:
not supported
Install mid-playthrough?
Yes.
Uninstall mid-playthrough?
Not tested but should be okay.
Requirements
Skyrim Special Edition. USSEP technically not needed but highly recommended.

Nether's Follower Framework
Mystique uses whichever body you have installed, be it CBBE or UNP or something else. All ressources you have installed for brows, eyes and skin will be used.
To get exactly the same look like in the pictures you need to install:
CBBE - Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer (OMG - That Girl Preset by MisterB1969, 50 weight)
Demonic Skin (FairMatureSkin Option - 4K - Default - Goose Bumps - Subsurface Disabler - all optional files)

There are a lot of alternatives available. You can use whatever you prefer.
Performance Impact
None. The mod is very lightweight since the mod uses the resources you have installed already. Scripts are used only to run the spells.
Compatibility
No known conflicts.
Known Issues
None so far. The mod was cleaned with SSEEdit. The ESP is form 44 of course.

Q: Do you have permission from Cortex56 to publish the mod?
A: Yes, I have.
Q: I have too litte ESP slots. Can I flag this as ESL?
A: You can do this when you compact the form ID's first.
Q: Can you provide ESL files ?
A: I considered it, but no.
Q: Does this mod work with Skyrim VR ?
A: Usually this kind of mod should work, but I don't know it for sure. I don't own VR equipment and cannot test it. You have to find it out by yourself.
Q: Can you port the mod for XB1 ?
A: No. I don't use XB1.
Q: Can you backport this mod to Oldrim ?
A: Why still using Oldrim? Switch to SSE. It's time. Really. I mean it.
Q: I found a bug.
A: Oh damn! Please report it in the bugs section of this page. Try to describe the issue as accurate as possible and mention the version you use.
I will try to fix as soon as possible.
Q: Is Mystique lore-friendly ?
A: Yes.

A: Maybe. Feel free to ask.
