    This MOD works with or without Parallax

    but if you want parallax working you need this mods:
    Better Dynamic Snow SE
    For now Better Dynamic Snow or at least it's esp is needed,
    otherwise snowy rocks won't render!

    I'm going to add more parallax stuff over time

    Version 1.7 is out!
    Changed Uv maps of many meshes
    removed the rocks exaggerated 'shininess'
    Made a lot of changes on all mountain textures for better parallax support, basically i build the whole mod up from scratch;)

      Same here man. I am using ENB parallax and everything is working perfectly besides mountain textures. It doesnt matter what parallax mountain texture I use, I am getting a slight warping/bending on the tips of mountain rocks as I approach them. Let me know if you find a solution, my only fix so far has been disabling parallax on mountain textures.

      Thanks for the reply Hein. I had to use https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/66284 instead of the link you listed because it is outdated. Unfortunately I am still getting warping on rocks when I approach them. I will keep trying to troubleshoot and solve it. I wish there was an updated guide to parallax, seems most of the information out there is outdated and confusing for a lot of users.

    textures look amazing until they start warping and stretching. Am i do something wrong or is this normal?

      You might install SSE Engine Fixes

      I have Engine Fixes but my textures are still warping at the tips of rocks when passing over them. Its minor but def noticeable, textures are fantastic otherwise.

      EnableTerrainParallax=true
      EnableComplexParallax=true

      EnableComplexTerrainParallax=true
      EnableTerrainBlending=true

      This is what I have in my ini file.

    I downloaded this mod and the mountains were blue so I read I had the wrong version of Better Dynamic Snow. I then downloaded version 2.11 of that and SSE Paralax Shader Fix but now the mountains are moving in a glitching motion. Anyone know why this could be the case?

    One dump question: are the mountain meshes double sided?

      Double sided meshs are used to prevent lighting through at extreme angles.

      Waiting anxiously for the double sided mesh update. I thinks yours is the only mesh mod that actually works great with the recent parallax updates in the ENB.

      Apologies for butting in, did the double sided meshes get added to the files? The upload date still says 2021 on the files, so I wasn't sure. Even without the double-sided meshes, though, this mod is amazing! Thank you so much for your work!

    Does the update add Complex Parallax or will that be released on a new mod page?

      After some more testing I came to the conclusion that we can have stronger p maps...
      Will be a different modpage to avoid confusion

      Understood & thank you.  I assume a simple overwrite of this mod with the new Complex Parallax meshes/textures on the new mod page will suffice...

    I put these over some parallax meshes from another mod, I'm not sure if that has to do with it...
    but the new complex parallax effect. you're textures made my jaw drop. It made most rocks look just like "Photogammetry rocks".

    I uploaded some pics
    cheers man

      Sorry for double post...
      I know it's alot to ask but, is it possible you make a Majestic Mountain compatible ENB complex version of Vivid?

      it's in so many load orders.. it would help us out alot.

      thanks so much for your legendary work

    The best Rock textures tbh, are you planning to use Parallax Occlusion? There is a weird shimmer around the edges of rocks now

    So, what is the magic for getting these meshes to work in the snow?  I have them working btw with BDS and a fix patch.  All the rocks in the snowy sections look good.  I like it so much, that I went to fix a mesh problem with Blended Roads, really blended edition.  The road looks great, but the bridges don't have parallax. I got a parallax bridges mod, and the bridges parallax, but cause snowy roads to lose their textures.  I thought, no worries, I can edit the mesh from Blended Roads.  I did that and it looks glorious, and the roads in Dawnstar are still there.  Only issue is the bridge south of Windhelm.  It is bridge01.nif I believe and is a copy of the one by the farms near Whiterun, which look gorgeous BTW, fully parallaxed now. The Windhelm bridge is totally white, and I know that has to do with the dynamic snow. I loaded up a random rock and saw that it had alpha vertex enabled, and figured that might fix the snow problem, but no.  So what is the secret sauce for making parallax work in the snow, because that is the only bridge I need to fix and all the bridges will be parallaxed, and I might drop those meshes into a small mod as a Blended Roads parallax bridges patch.  Thanks for any advice you can give. You created a monster.  I am parallaxing everything.

      Hey!
      Actually all the magic is done by better dynamic snow and the way it handles the snow shader... Sounds like  this special bridge isn't listed by it
