THIS MOD WAS CREATED BY THE TALENTED VILTUSKA AS A PART OF THE BEYOND SKYRIM: ROSCREA PROJECT. SO PLEASE, DO GO TO THE MOD'S ORIGINAL PAGE AND LEAVE AN ENDORSEMENT. ALSO, THIS WAS PORTED WITH VILTUSKA'S PERMISSION.

PSA: The talented Briraka (creator of Briraka's Draugr Overhaul, can't recommend it enough) has made a mod that better integrates the mighty Gehenoth to the land of Skyrim! So do yourself of favor and go download the mod HERE. Also don't forget to endorse it, as that really does help in terms of discoverability.

With that out of the way, this is a port of the 1.21 version of Gehenoth. I know the Gehenoth was added to the mod TES V: Hunt of Hircine however I though people would appreciate having the option of having the individual monster.

The following is Viltuska's original description as he wrote on the mods original page:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I must also warn you that outside these walls is a fearsome creature that has slaughtered any who fight it. It appears when you
rest. Do not fight it, you are not ready. Run."

-Eustacia the Healer

This mod adds the monster called Gehenoth from the mobile game "TES Travels: Dawnstar" to Skyrim.
However this is meant to be more of a modders resource than an actual mod. If you activate the Gehenoth.esp you can encounter the Gehenoth in the following locations:
- Gloomreach
- Sightless Pit
- Kagrenzel
- War Quarters, Blackreach
- Frostflow Abyss
- Duskglow Crevice
- Yngvild
- Bleakcoast Cave
- Sea Cave, Japhets Folly

Changelog 1.1
- Improved the normal maps
- set the texture color closer to the original
- added some more topology to the horns
Changelog 1.2
- Textures and normal maps redone
- added ingredient Gehenoth Eye
- added 3 more locations
- added a random loadscreen for the Gehenoth

The Gehenoth is a level 30 enemy and rather formidable one if you have a low level character, easy if you're above 30. If you defeat the Gehenoth you can gather it's claws to use as an alchemical ingredient. It's kept as beast of war by the Falmer who used it to assault Dawnstar back in  the 3rd Era.

Cleaned with TES5edit (not that there was any cleaning). Load order is somewhat irrelevant since it doesn't touch any vanilla  settings.

This mod was originally made as a part of the Beyond Skyrim: Roscrea project. So thanks to all the folks at Dark Creations!

FAQ:

1.- Does this works?
A: As far as I have tested, yes. The Gehenoth loads and behaves as expected, and you can find the new ingredients in the monster's inventory. I have (I believe) made my do diligence and tested this in both a vanilla skyrim and a heavily modded skyrim (500+ mods), looked at it in SSEEdit and found nothing that should cause your game to crash.

2.- Is this going to get any other support aside from getting a port to SSE?

A: Unfortunately the OG mod hasn't been updated since 2014, and when I asked permission from Viltuska he told me he was at the moment very busy to upload/update a mod in his Nexus accounts. So this mod comes as is. On my side I too am busy with IRL stuff so I don't believe I can give any support to this mod. However if Gehenoth ever gets updated on LE I will try to update this port as fast I can. Also please don't bother Viltuska for updates or errors on this port.
