HDT High Heels SSE wedside seem to be not working.

Still one of the best looking armors out there, seriously!!

FYI you ONLY need the CBBE textures from the original mod, not the main file from that mod.

And if you use the HDT-SMP version you don't need HDT High Heels.

And, lastly, this can be turned into an ESPFE.

Amazing work!  left a comment earlier but just decided to use other heels for my sound issue, other than that everything is working perfectly

For some reason I cant get the DrowRangerCuirass textures to fully load. its the only one that wont out of everything from the mod. The top half does but the bottom half doesnt. Could this be something related to HDT or something? So there are still 2 sets in game, it lists both at the smithy which is why I saw that set. Only one was meant to be used and the other one was the incorrect one. I'm assuming its how the stuff was ported to the cbbe version. Dont know if its something weird in my configuration causing this, if not then maybe that should be something to be fixed.

I am so sorry to say this but could this mod possibly be any more confusing? It is not at all clear what the requirements are--looks like the mod author listed requirements for every single variation regardless of what each variation actually needs and you have to go elsewhere to get the textures? Okay, fine. That wasn't a problem for me but it was for others. How about packaging everything in a FOMOD and asking the original mod author if you can include the needed textures? I promise you, docteure, you'll get more endorsements and fewer questions that way.

And please, no one lecture me about the amount of work involved in making a mod and how mod authors do what they do for free. I make mods myself and I am well aware of what kind of work the process requires. Including instructions that make sense is the easiest part. This mod isn't the only one by docteure that is massively confusing.

Edit: Sorry, I was wrong. The other mods I download by docteure were fine. It's just this one that's driving me crazy. Still, a FOMOD is a good idea, I think.

I'm going to assume by 'packaging everything' you mean just the textures with our file, and not that we should steal BodySlide/RaceMenu/SKSE64/HDT/etc. =P

Downloading from the original mod was a condition for us releasing. That the file 'CBBE patch textures' from the original mod is required is stated eight times (one for each version, plus 2x requirements section, plus mod file descriptions). We can't help it if people keep missing it.

First, I want to apologize for being so rude. This mod was driving me bonkers trying to figure out what I need to download and what requires what. This mod was driving me crazy, too. I gave up on it.

It's too bad that the person who made the textures is being so territorial about it. Why not just ask that you provide credit and a link back to their page? Why are they making downloading from them a requirement? Are they making money from downloads? I make stuff for Sims 3 and Sims 4 and, trust me, I know how much work it is to create something, but if you are going to engage in modding a game then openly sharing your work is part of the deal, you know what I mean? You share your work, others share theirs, everyone is happy.

By packaging, I mean somehow combining the meshes and textures into a FOMOD rather than have separate downloads. I guess what's really confusing me is that the three main mods list seven downloads as required files. Do all of the main mods really require that many files? For instance, they all list Racemenu, and Lazy Heels, and HDT High Heels. First, the HDT High Heels link leads nowhere, and second, if Racemenu is a requirement, why is HDT High Heels a requirement? It's so confusing.

Edit: Why does the static version require this mod? If it were me, I'd make it clear in the main file downloads' description that the files contain Caliente Tools, the esp plugin, and meshes, only. I'd make the requirements match for each main file since not all seven requirements apply to every main file, and I'd specify that this mod is needed for its CBBE textures only. The descriptions for the optional files are perfect the way they are.

"three main mods list seven downloads as required files"
They don't. The mod description, requirements section (our own and the Nexus one) and the file description all state what you need for each version of the mod.
Static: CBBE, BodySlide, CBBE Patch Textures, RaceMenu HighHeels OR LazyTools heels.
HDT-SMP:  CBBE, BodySlide, CBBE Patch Textures, RaceMenu HighHeels OR LazyTools heels, HDT-SMP.
HDT:  CBBE, BodySlide, CBBE Patch Textures, HDT-SMP, HDT High Heels.

"Why does the static version require this mod?"
It doesn't. The static version does not require HDT in any way. No where does it say it does.

"I'd make the requirements match for each main file since not all seven requirements apply to every main file"
The requirements popup that appears when you click download is for the entire mod; there's no way to make it different for each file. That's why reading the description is important. In the description we state what each version requires.

"I'd specify that this mod is needed for its CBBE textures only"
We already do that. Every time the original mod is mentioned, it states that you need to go there for the textures file only.

Really? Nexus mods won't let you specify required files for each main mod? That sucks. Really, the fact that the popup lists seven requirements for each of the main mods was what was throwing me for a loop. As for specifying that you need textures from the other mod, it wasn't an issue for me but people do misread things all the time. This is why I suggested using the word "only" in the description.

Man! I cannot believe Nexus mods won't let you be precise in what shows up in the popup window. I felt like I was being told one thing on the description page and something else entirely when I went to download the file I needed. It was so utterly confusing. I got it worked out eventually but obviously, I was very frustrated for a while.

Do we, in fact, need HDT High Heels for the static version? When I opened the esp from the static version of this mod, I didn't see anything that indicated that HDT High Heels is necessary. I was expecting to see something about a spell in the plugin and I saw nothing like that. And MO2 isn't throwing a warning about a missing master, either. If HDT High Heels is needed, I think that could pose a problem for some people. I haven't looked because I have a copy of HDT High Heels, but I don't think it's easy to find anymore.

I am so sorry if I came across as pissy. Okay, okay, I was feeling pretty pissy but I can't really complain all that much. You do a lot of great work and I do appreciate it.

It is quite the flaw, but generally we tend to view the popup as a reminder more than anything, and leave all the important stuff in the description where it's easy to find.

The static version, as previously stated, requires CBBE, BodySlide, CBBE Patch Textures, RaceMenu HighHeels OR LazyTools heels. It does not need HDT- anything. You can even skip RM HighHeels/LazyTool Heels if you don't want to use the boots, or don't care if they clip into the ground. Likewise you can skip BodySlide if you just want to use the default shape this mod comes with.

Thanks for the explanation. The helps a lot. You should make that comment a sticky so people will know what's a hard requirement and what isn't. I'm just massively confused about the physics and bodyslide stuff right now and haven't got anything straight in my head yet. It is so frustrating. I'll get it figured out eventually...but not without pain, lol :D

I am getting blue/purple textures on the other colors. I picked the Flower Black option when installing it. but the other colors are getting blue/purple textures.

Edit: I'm stupid. I have to install the Patch Textures mod in the optional files from the original mod.

Not sure if this is a bug or if i'm just stupid, but in first person the forearms up to the shoulders are way bigger than normal and broken. I tested this with other armor mods and it only happens with this mod. Any ideas on a fix?

I have the exact same problem. Forearms are only huge in first person. Not sure if there is a fix. This is a great mod except for this bug

I wonder, there is a existing patch for joy of perspective or a alternative ?
