REQUIEM - TEMPERING OVERHAUL

This overhauls the weapon crafting recipes in Requiem to require components that might hopefully make a little more sense. I never much understood the idea of taking a bit of metal AND a sharpening wheel to a blade to get an instaupgrade. Now melee weapons, bows & crossbows will require oils and waxes to temper the weapon. This was basically inspired by Paulicus' tempering tweak from Requiem Tweaks for Oldrim. I just recreated the idea with some differences.

FEATURES:

- Basic Weapon Oil and Bowstring Wax can be purchased from blacksmiths and caravan merchants, while fletchers will stock bowstring wax. Vendors carry limited stock so they can also be made at the smelter. Weapon oil can be made from troll fat or dwarven oil and produces 3 vials. Bowstring wax is made from honeycomb and also produces a batch of 3.

- Certain higher-tier melee weapons, such as Skyforge, Glass, Ebony, Daedric, Dragonbone & Stahlrim also require a Honing Compound, in addition to oil. This can be purchased from Eorland at the Skyforge or from Orcish blacksmiths, as well as the Dark Brotherhood. You can also craft it at the smelter from either Red or Blue Glitterdust and clay, producing a batch of 2.

- Many artifact weapons also require the additional crafting component. Daedric items still require Daedra Hearts as well as the new materials.

- Higher-tier bows will need Bowyer's Rosin in addition to wax, which can be purchased from the aforementioned, as well as from Fletchers. You can craft the rosin at the smelter from Spriggan Sap and either a Bee or Torchbug Thorax, producing a batch of 2.

- Armors are untouched. The idea of taking a bit of the base material and patching up worn armor makes a bit more sense to me. So ingots and materials still have a use there.

- Whatever base perks that are required for tempering a weapon are unchanged from Requiem. Crafting recipes should be conditioned to not show unless you have one of the required materials in your inventory. All crafting items from this mod require the basic Craftsmanship perk.

COMPATIBILITY
The mod only touches a handful of container records. Most of it is added by the REQ_LI_BlacksmithMinimum level list, so if you have any other patches affecting those you can easily copy records in xEdit. All weapon tempering recipes have been change obviously.

Any new weapon mods will require a patch but wont break anything. I will look to upload patches. You can do this easily yourself in xEdit by swapping out the temper recipes with the relevant tempering component. It's a pretty simple mod.

Highly recommend using a mod that allows weapon and armor degradation. Equipment Durability System is a great mod and adds extra challenge and interest to tempering, as well as item breakage.
