This mod makes changes to Peak's Shade Tower and the bandit checkpoint north of here using Fort Takeovers. After clearing the enemies from Peak's Shade tower, it becomes a safe space for travelers, with the help of the Falkreath guards that will take over the bandit checkpoint. As it was meant to be.

This release of SRC contains two seperate locations! Peak's Shade Tower and the bandit checkpoint to the north.
Clearing Peak's Shade Tower turns the location in to a resting place for travelers. To maintain the safety of this location, you should also clear the checkpoint to the north. After clearing this location of it's bandits, it will turn into a Falkreath Hold owned checkpoint called Pinewatch Checkpoint (named after the famous secret bandit lair).
Lore Peak's Shade Tower has been unsafe for way to long. The people of Falkreath and travelers have always been afraid of what was lurking in this ancient tower. After news reached of a brave adventurer who defeated the danger, two hunters decided it was time for peace. They turned the tower into their home, allowing travelers to rest for free. The hunters also sell their game you can cook.
Not only did the hero clear the tower of it's dangers, but he also left the bandit checkpoint unguarded. In an attempt to make Falkreath Hold a safer place, the Jarl ordered the guard to take the Checkpoint and keep an eye on the road. The checkpoint was officially renamed Pinewatch Checkpoint.
Note from the author I'm trying to make lightweight changes to forts and such places to become more immersive using the Fort Takeovers mod. As of now I am not really making overhauls, but once I have done quite a few, I might start making Full version. The current versions would become Lite versions.
