Please post compatibility questions and information on the Compatibility page.
We will try to periodically update the main post on that page with information regarding specific mods and links to available patches, and it will help us significantly if this information is already available in posts under that topic and we don't have to search through the longer main thread.
We are aware of the issue with the experience bar not immediately updating upon crafting an item, which is a consequence of the way CCOR calculates experience via script. Version 2.4 adds an MCM option to "Update XP Bar Immediately" which forces the Smithing XP bar to update immediately after crafting an item, but this may not function properly with some mods, or if you have high script latency. Disable this option if you experience issues. Gamepads are not currently supported; unfortunately gamepad users may need to move the cursor or click on another item in order for the experience bar to update. We do hope to be able to extend this fix to gamepad users in the future.
Please note that CCOR uses the furniture nodes in the forge, smelter, and tanning rack crafting station meshes to detect when an item is crafted. Consequently mods which remove the furniture nodes from these meshes, such as No Crafting Animations, will break much of CCOR's functionality.
Hello, Doctor! How are you doing? Long time no see :) I have a small suggestion to make: it would be awesome if in further updates you would take the ingot, ore and vein names out of the cco_compatibilityscript.psc/pex and put it as variables at least in the .esp, or even better in a json text file, outside and far away from the scripts. It would make translating CCOR much more easy, as with each update, modders go into editing and recompiling that script to get the ore/ingot/vein names right. Take care, hope you're doing fine!
can you recommend mod order for kryptopyr's other mods, including: Improved Traps Timing is Everything Trade and Barter Thieves Guild Requirements SE Atlas Map Markers Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul
The order for Improved Traps, The Choice is Yours, Timing is Everything, Trade and Barter, and Thieves Guild Requirements shouldn't matter; I have them arranged alphabetically before WACCF, but that's just me.
Smithing Perk Overhaul should load after CCOR, and I suggest loading Stealth Skills Rebalanced also after CCOR but before AMB. My load order looks like:
WACCF
ACE
CCOR
SPO
SSR
AMB
CACO should be after CCOR; I load most weapon overhauls/patches after CCOR, and then CACO and its patches.
Atlas Map Markers should near the bottom of your load order. The only thing I have after it are various Flat World Map plugins and some dynamically generated patches.
When I have a Steel Dagger and an Enchanted Steel Dagger in my inventory, the smelter lets me breakdown both Steel Daggers as part of the Breakdown 2 Steel Daggers recipe. Is this a bug? Normally I am not able to breakdown enchanted weapons or armour. I had favourited the Enchanted Steel Dagger
EDIT- gonna leave this whole thing here in case some as dumb as me has the same problem. Somehow I didn't notice the "...Filter By: *****" at the top of the Smithing list at a Forge. I recently installed "Yes, I'm Sure" so navigating CCOR's new toggles is much smoother. Well, Filtering by STYLE shows that NOTHING was selected by default- so of course nothing would show to be able to craft. Just having All Styles is a toggle itself with a constant [+] next to it. Manually selecting Dwarven or Elven shows everything that it should. Or now that I have 'Yes, im sure" I get a window to activate all or none when clicking All Styles....working as intended....... :face palm:
I'm not sure exactly where my issue might lie, so I am posting this on a few of the different (possibly) related mod pages. Basically, I am unable to craft anything higher than the basic Iron gear at any forge despite perks unlocked and materials on my character. I CAN craft custom added gear, but none of the stuff that's built into the vanilla game. Not sure if there's an issue, or I'm an idiot and don't know how to use one of the associated mods correctly.
The only mods I have that have any affect on Smithing, Smithing perks or added craftable items are- CCOR-SE WACCF Ordinator Perks Immersive Armors Convenient Horses (added craftable Horse Armors) Honed Metal (pretty sure unrelated, but still mentioning) Cloaks of Skyrim Battle Mage Armor & Moon Monk Armor. I do have kryptopyr's Patch Hub and all the necessary patches from that. Legacy of the Dragonborn with CC (also possibly unrelated, but it's big, so...) SkyUI (i haven't really changed any of the default settings for any of these mods)
My test point is at Dwarven Smithing. I have leveled Smithing up to about 43 or so and I do have both levels of the Meric Crafting Perk. I noticed this issue when I unlocked the first level and chose Dwarven and nothing changed except I was now able to craft the Dwarven Barding from Convenient Horses, but that was IT. I have crushed tons of Dwarven Weapons and Armor pieces in the Smelter, even made a ton of ingots from various scrap pieces. At this point, I'm not even sure what else I can't craft that I should be able to, pretty sure I can't even do any Steel either. With the 2nd level perk of Meric Crafting I still can't do anything more- no Elven, etc. I DO have my entire stock of all crafting materials on my character, knowning that you have to have some materials on you for the recipes to even show. I did try to console player.addperk with whatever the ID is for Dwarven Smithing, got the message, but still nothing changed. I can, at any time, craft the Battle Mage Armors (the mod just requires the book be in your inventory), all Cloaks, and the correct Horse Bardings based on what crafting Perks I have unlocked. I can craft some things from Immersive Armors, but basically sticks to the same base-level items only. I have had no problem crafting any replicas in LoTD replica bench or the relics from the other relic type bench. I don't have any mods that change abilities, like this, based on Race. I see Morrowloot mentioned a lot and i DO NOT have that.
xEdit doesn't see any conflicts with the Ordinator Perks or the "spells" that the perks enable, no conflicts with anything, actually. Not really sure where to look for CCOR, but overall there wasn't any conflicts as CCOR and/or kryptopyr's associated patches are taking priority over anything. My load order is basically this (there's a LOT more): Skyrim v1.6.1130 Update DLCs USSEP v4.3.0a WACCF v2.9.4 Convenient Horses Immersive Armor CCOR-SE v2.5.2 Ordinator v9.31 kryptopyr's patches v4.0.1
Since xEdit isn't telling me anything (to my knowledge...) and I'm pretty sure I have things ordered correctly enough based on anything in the various mod descriptions, i'm looking for some help on what to do! I know there's been an update for CCOR-SE from the version I have, but the Changelogs imply that an update won't fix my current issue, if it's even that mod. Hopefully it's something dumb, like me not fully understanding how to use a mod!
Can someone explain this, from above, better and more detailed and without all the comments from using another mod. Just simple directions, as I cannot figure out how to get rid of those + sections at the top. If I try the .....filter by: style, I do not see dwarven or elven as mentioned, and selecting them under materials just removes the +.

Have a question about how to add compatibility to Elionora's Breezehome mod. It uses a cooking pot as a smelter which is not recognized by the leveling added in CCOR for smeltdown unfortunately.
https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/8378 - I want to create a patch like this one here, how would I do that?
It's just a matter of adding "Smithing" to the "Uses Skill" field of her smelter. As I was in SSEEdit anyway, here's a patch for it (I'll incorporate this into kryptopyr's Patch Hub the next time we update).
LOL. It's actually 2 gold, however CCOR and WACCF reduce the weight from 5 to 2, so you win some you lose some. There are nearly 50 million users on the Nexus so you're never going to please everyone. What I don't understand is that anyone can alter any value they think is more realistic for their playstyle with SSEEdit in 2 seconds. Perhaps some people just enjoy complaining rather than modding. I don't know.
I seem to be having an issue with the "drops per Vein' setting under mining. If I change it it will work for a few minutes but later on when I mine a different ore vein it will go back to default 3 while MCM still shows my change. Does anyone have any insight on this?
No, there's no reason I can think of that it would be resetting like that. Are you using the CCOR Settings Loader? If not, maybe give it a try and see if it resolves the issue.

Thanks for the help!
Yeah, no.
Have a kudos, I enjoyed the laugh. Cheers.
