If you wonder how this mod was made, I'll share the steps with you guys here. It's no big work, really. 1) Get a Bethesda.net account. Then download and install Bethesda.net Launcher. 2) Run your Bethesda.net Launcher. Then install and run Skyrim Creation Kit. 3) Load up Skyrim.esm and Update.esm. then wait. 4) Once everything is loaded. In the Object Window, select "*All" and enter "bq" in the filter. You will see many things pop out. 5) Find BQ01, BQ02, BQ03 and BQ04 under Editor ID. Those are the things we need to edit. 6) Double click BQ01 then select the "Quest Stages" tab. You'll see "200" under Index. Select it. 7) Find "Papyrus Fragment" section on the right side, make sure "BQScript" is chosen in "kmyQuest" and you'll see its script. 8) Find the line that says "Stop()" and add this new line BEFORE it: Game.AddPerkPoints(1) 9) Click the "Compile" button. Then click the "Scripts" tab. Select "BQScript" and click the "Properties" button. 10) Under "Property Name," find "RewardAmount" and select it. Hit the "Clear Value" button on the right then enter the amount of money you'd like. Then hit "OK." Click "OK" button of "Quest: BQ01" window. 11) Apply the same actions of Step 6 to 10 to the other BQ quests, only with different values you want. 12) Now you can save the file, or hit Ctrl+Shift+S to test it in the game.
If you want more perk points, just change the value in Game.AddPerkPoints(1). The number "1" is how many perk points you get for reward. If you want 2, just change it to 2. It's easy. You can also load up an .esp file from another mod and edit it by following the steps above. But if you want to upload the new file, you'd better contact the original mod author and get their permission. Tutorial's over. Have fun.
Edit: I'm sorry I can't make Oldrim version of this mod. The 32-bit Creation Kit doesn't show script codes for me. It always says ";codes not loaded" so I can't edit the scripts.
This didn't work for me. It's an easy fix since HCHS63rdWilson left pretty clear instructions on how to create it. The "Game.AddPerkPoints(1)" was missing in the script. Of course you have to do this in the Creation Kit, afaik. Since it was last updated in '16 I was surprised it worked at all. I added that line and it works fine.
Also, for anyone still playing LE I remade this when I was playing it https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/110265
Well duh. Did you not see where I wrote what was missing? I would guess they fixed it themselves but why don't you go ask them? How tf do I know what they're doing?
Edit: Found another combination: Use: 'Missives' + 'Missives Perk Points' Seems to be a better version, more immersive as well. Note: I think it's a good idea to not use 'The Notice Board SE' with this combination. (Bounty Hunter can still be used, I think.)
all garbage fetch quest mods lol worst idea to hide perks behind such boring quests and forcing yourself to worst skyrim run you ever had imagine bringing a few apples for an npc and getting a perk point hell yeah awesome :D
Hey, is there any possibility of a compatibility patch for Notice Board? I'm playing with both, and the quests you get from Notice Board, despite being the same, don't seem to give the perk points?
Same situation with the quests given by shopkeepers via More To Say https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22622?tab=description Otherwise, it is very well thought out conversation piece. Endorsed, of course.
Well, we all want this to work with Notice Board. I'm no modder, so it may be worth asking the NB author if they can create a compatibility patch. I think permissions are needed, and I do not think this author is still/was heavy in the community.
Well I tried looking in SSEEdit and I have no clue what to even work with to make a patch for it.
What I can only suggest is to try and open the CK and look into how you can change the reward. Essentially editing the Notice board mod in the Creation kit. That unfortunately is beyond me.
is there a way I can make the bounty's only affect the perk point, I'm trying to play a harder route by limiting gold rewards but just the perk point is fine for me
I tried to recreate this mod as part of a larger overhaul I'm currently working on. I can get the gold reward increase, but not the Perk Points. I triple checked everything & it seems identical to the original mod, yet it DOESN'T WORK. Anyone have any ideas?
I don't know if HCHS63rdWilson is still active to read this. Can a compatibility patch be made for Completionist - Skyrim Completion Tracker [SE-AE] -- Radiant Bounty Quest Tracking script BQScript.px ? Pass the word, people, and stay safe.

There's a work around to make 'Notice Board' gives perk point:
Use: 'The Notice Board SE' + 'Bounty Hunter (Radiant quest reward perk point)'
I hope they work, I'll try in VR soon.
Edit: Found another combination:
Use: 'Missives' + 'Missives Perk Points'
Seems to be a better version, more immersive as well.
Note: I think it's a good idea to not use 'The Notice Board SE' with this combination. (Bounty Hunter can still be used, I think.)
Edit 2: Another combination:
Use: 'Missives' + 'Missives Perk Points' + 'Headhunter - Bounties Redone'
Seems to be a better version, more immersive as well.
Note: Surely conflict with 'Bounty Hunter (Radiant quest reward perk point)' so better not use it (- Headhunter's own patch (FOMOD install) makes you able to use Notice Board together with Missives)
