Description:
I did not create this Mod. All I did was port it from the Oldrim version. And before you ask, yes I received permission from the author. The original Mod is located here. So, please, give all the endorsements and praise to GroonCz. And be sure to check out the page for information on what this Mod does to the interior to the Fort.
Fort Dawnguard Improvements Mod was converted from Oldrim to S.E.E. using the CK then cleaned.
I've tested it in game extensively. Meaning, I ran around making sure everything was in order, no weird glitches, no crashing etc. I had ZERO issues. Thus if you come across an issue be absolutely sure it this Mod that is causing it before screaming, "BUG!"
Furthermore, there was one tiny thing I did have to edit. The original Mod author accidentally placed a quest item in the fort. Normally I would not care, however the item could be picked-up. So I removed it.
Installing:
There are conflicting statements of when to load this Mod. Before Dawnguard. After Dawnguard. During Kwanzaa. On Kathy Griffin's birthday by sacrificing a goat to the Great Demon. I installed mine right after the first Dawnguard quest was completed and it worked fine.
But what you should do is the following:
*Be sure to have the DLC installed (duh!)
*Get everything you need inside the vanilla Fort. Once you install the Mod there is no guarantee that same item you needed/wanted will be there.
*Exit Fort Dawguard.
*Make a fresh save.
*Exit the game and download the Mod one of the following two ways:
Auto: Download directly to whatever Mod Manager you are using and install.
Manually: Download, Unzip, Go to your main S.S.E. folder and drop the unzipped file in the Data folder. OR Download the Mod and drag the zipped folder into your Mod Manager of choice.
Load the game. Enter Dawnguard. The load into the fort may take longer then normal do to the game loading the newly added assets into the cell. I strongly recommend you wander around and make sure there are no issues. Once you established there are no issue, do a happy dance; for Fort Dawnguard no longer looks like a sh!t hole that two cent crack hookers would not even live in.
Compatibility:
If you have another Mod installed that changes the interior of Fort Dawnguard then it will cause issues. Other then that, it should be fine.

OMG! I found a bug. FIX it! Fix it Now!!!
(Sighs) If there is a bug be sure it this MOD that is causing it. Then pull up your big boy/girl/giraffe pants and try to fix the issue yourself. If after all that you still have the problem, report it. I cannot guarantee I will be able to fix it since my editing of cells is spotty.
