Amazing mod. I felt like more could be done with hdt smp by applying it to items like clothing, but looks like I found the mod that did just that (there's probably some more that I haven't found, I'm fairly new to mods like these! By the way, what's the mod that adds the shirt the girl's wearing on the mod's first image? Looks neat.
(Looked through the forums, apparently this question was asked several times and no one seems to know. That's a shame I guess.)
Cannot for the life of me figure out what the issue is here. Skirts on the ground. Anyone know if this is incompatible with Nemesis, maybe? (HDT is working for everything else).
Just stumpled over this mod! Is there any chance of getting this available on bethesda.net for use with XBOX one ?!? There are no other skirts-only mods available. At least for now. (Wick's ones have way too bright colours for skyrim)
Even without the physics the skirts would be much appreciated. Currently doing a "Highlander" play-through so these skirts would fit perfectly.
theres an issue with this mod its really buetiful but on the side of the thighs the skirt goes inskin when sprinting using animations is there any kind of fix for it if you know please reply id appreciate it :)
You should use the Outfit Studio/BodySlide SliderSets for the skirts and conform the mesh to your default body template ("preset") to eliminate clipping. Okame28 has been gracious enough to include SliderSets and ShapeData files for both the UUNP (my choice) and CBBE versions of this mod. All you have to do is batch-build (two mouse clicks) and you're done. It doesn't get any easier than that.
It isn't quite that easy for the CBBE version. The bodyslide is built using the old base shape from LE. so each baseshape needs to be conformed to the new cbbe, and each BS project needs the new references imported before a batch build will work without issue. I started that project with the 40-some Bodyslide files but quickly ended up re-tooling this using 2 bodyslide files only. one for Skirt and one for Miniskirt and created Texture Sets in the esp to handle the variations. More streamlined imho.
I do the same thing - texture swaps - when I have to make my own Conversion Sliders, but (unlike the old-vs-new CBBE issue you accurately cited) it's easier for me on this mod to just use the provided UUNP sets- they work perfectly and no manual intervention is required.
Also, I have not had much success converting body types (CBBE >> UUNP, Adec >> UUNP, etc.) on SMP cloth-physics items because when I replace the old reference body type with the new UUNP one, the mesh breaks- at best, it just becomes static, but at worst it becomes a jumble of geometric shapes- runaway physics. In all of these cases, the mesh looks great in NifSkope after conversion, and the cloth-physics bones are present in all of the relevant shapes, but the item blows up in-game.
So I'm limited to using what is provided, or living with them "as is" - I have several outfits that are CBBE and will always be CBBE due to my lack of understanding how to convert them without breaking them. They look fine in-game (other than the pudgy shape), but of course I can't mix-n-match anything with them because of the clipping... nothing looks quite as heinous as UUNP stockings on fat CBBE legs.
Yes, I'm using the UUNP file, version 1.1 of this mod. But the skirt version is not your problem- your problem is undoubtedly related to your installation of Bodyslide/Outfit Studio. Have you imported UUNP from Oldrim into SSE Bodyslide?
For anyone else encountering this with the CBBE bodies, the skirt variants do have a clipping problem when the character is moving, and there is not an easy fix. However- the miniskirt variants included with this mod have no clipping issues- at least not for me.
There's also a typo in the OK_Skirt.xml line 7: <prenetration>10</prenetration>
As it happens, HydrogenSaysHDT realized he had made that "prenetration" error (he is Chinese, so it's surprising there aren't even more such errors.) What he did is introduce the correct spelling, "penetration" as you posted, then set an alias so that whenever "prenetration" was encountered it would correctly invoke "penetration" for backwards compatibility.
My point is that unless aers's new, improved HDT-Skinned Mesh Physics engine has removed it, "prenetration" still works even though (as you said) it is incorrect. Therefore, while my OCD shares your desire to remove the fake spelling from all of my xml's, which I have done, there is actually no need for more casual users to correct it.
Install the Legacy UUNP Body (includes Bodyslide files), then the UUNP version of this mod will work in BodySlide. OR Install the CBBE body (may or may not include BS files), then the CBBE version of this mod will work in BodySlide.
On the Description tab of this mod are an image and text saying "Upstairs in Dragonsreach!" How is that not enough to show you where the chest containing the skirts is?
The requirements list is obsolete. Both "hdtSSEFramework" and "hdtSSEPhysics" have long since been superceded (almost 2 years ago) by aers' HDT-SMP (Skinned Mesh Physics) which consists of only a single file and works better than the original from 9damao.

since I can no longer download the requirements
I'll try it now.
I do know that there's nothing wrong with the skirts- they work fine with full physics in SSE v1.5.97 with SKSE64 2.00.17.
