    On my device HP Reverb g2 / Windows Mixed Reality lock is in the wrong position I think - the first pin is outside of the lock. Any ideas how I could adjust it?

    And an issue whenever i tried to loot containers or lockpick it would open up the default interface aswell as the magvr stuff. Turns out the problem was a "block steal" mod.


    For the people asking about turning off certain features or change bindings go to where the mod is installed (if using Vortex, right click "open in file manager") go into the folder skse>plugins>magevr.

    once there you should see 3 folders and 5 files.
    open the magevr.ini file in notepad and follow the instructions inside.

    Personally i only use magevr for the backpack and lock picking so my file looks like this

    edit: if you want to use b/y as a bind its binding is "1" like how A/X is "7"

    Hey there! Hopping the creator is open to ideas for improvement on this cool mod! Cause i have some ideas that might be very cool and i want to share them here!

    I had ideas for MageVR , Spell Wheel & HIGGS. i decided to add all of them in the same list since i think all 3 mods would be needed to make my vision work.

    1. For the backpack! it would be fun to have spell wheel implementation for the items where instead of texts it would be the spell wheel orbs in the backpack. with all the usual tabs at the bottom. and if you hover over an item it shows the text description of the item and make it inflate like in spell wheel (so it would pretty much add a third wheel. left hand, right hand and backpack.)

    2. For lockpicking! Making the locks connect with the thing you want to unlock. This way when you interact with a door, a lockpick will appear in your hand and you'll have to physically get in place in front of the locked door and do the same lockpicking interaction as MageVR. this would make immersion crazy fun to my opinion!

    3. For the glyph system. for the people who don't want to use them, having a way to disable them. i personally tried and i don't like it that much. the concept is cool! but vrik's gestures are easier and more intuitive to use.

    4. My personal idea that i find would make the game immersive. having a physical book reading. I don't know how we can implement this. but my idea would be to pick up the book with HIGGS and opening it physically, this could make the text loaded in the book ON the pages! to switch pages we could use a swiping gesture over the text and it would change the text. And if you drop the book the text disappear and comes back to zero. 

    5. Going with my book idea. Having a physical quest book that works in the same way. where the book shows your quest menu but ON the book itself instead of floating in front of the player.

    6. Opening a chest could make a spell wheel menu appear over or in the chest so we can pick and chose what we want with HIGGS without the need of a menu and it would work very well with the backpack!

    note: The use of spell wheel's menu in many different places wound make the integration look more natural instead of using different options for every different things. But, it could probably be done in any other ways that might be simpler. 
    I just really like the look of Spell wheel!

    EDIT: I got no clue how to mod anything! So i have no idea if my ideas are doable or performance friendly but i've seen modders do crazy game changing things for SkyrimVR

    is there a way to turn off glyphs? or maybe a way to turn off everything except the backpack?

    Can I change the font of the text that is hover displayed on the MageVR backpack?
    Because this does not support UTF-8, the item display in all other languages, including Japanese, is garbled.
    If this is not a proprietary font, it would solve the problem in many other languages.

    PSA: SteamVR have updated the default binds, it will try to set a vive-like configuration for index / touch if the devs have not provided an official configuration for those 
    check if you have weird bindings such as  B>A or A>Grip

    Couple of things.
    Has anyone made a better looking back pack interface for this? Also my backpack is huge.
    Can we switch buttons for casting? Anytime I do anything I'm drawing those symbols but they do nothing. I have many mods but haven't played around with everything yet.

    It would be amazing if every spell was already binded into a glyph and we learned that glyph when learning the spell, leaving the manual binding for new mod spells only

    Soooo its been 3 years since this mod was last updated

    Anyone feel like fixing it/making an alternative?

    Seems like the only things people really want are the backpack and the immersive lockpicking so if there was a version that did that without all of the issues of this mod, that would be fantastic!
    Most people just use Spell Wheel VR and VRIK for quickly equipping and using spells mid-combat anyways.

      i want the quiver feature since simple real archery is broken with papyrus script requirements and i want to draw arrows from my quiver each shot instead of the vanilla teleport arrow into hand - but shame this is broken too. Where can we find a mod to please make a quiver mod for VR?

      Simple Realistic Archery VR still works for me, you just need all the requirements

      Also, I think you might also need Papyrus Extender VR

    Anyone have a problem with MageVR ruining FPS-es after some time? For me FPS drops are starting to appear totally random and game basically is unplayable. Even if i open MageVR.exe before SkyrimVR and i set it in my Nvidia panel to keep high performance for that process it make no difference. I'm starting a game , playing 10-15 min and GIGA LAG appears . 

    Only solution i found for this is to select MageVR.exe window on focus for a moment, then lag stops , and return to focus SkyrimVR (If i won't , some functionalities won't work), but this is helping only for another couple of minutes .

      I recommend you something called "process lasso" so you can prevent windows from assuming a background window is not important
