The helmet block is really difficult to patch in some load orders for some reason. I hope there's a newer patch in the future that handles it better than the one available. I understand the concept, but it should have been optional. Speechcraft is influenced by voice and other physical atributes, not only if there's part of your face covered... Anyways I love the mod!
i am sorry to see you having this issue. My personal mod order is around 1506 mods in MO2 and i don't have an issue with he mod. Si don't know what's tripping the mod yup for you
Reinstalled, moved it near the beginning of my load order (lowest priority) in plugins, and highest priority (lowest down) in left panel (mod order), made a new game again, now it's working.
the helmet requirement is dumb and should be able to be toggled with the ini. seems arbitrary and getting someone to follow me or fight me, i should have my headgear. it's still a good mod but wish it had settings.
It's a bit late but in case anyone else wants a potential fix for this, you can also use Helmet Toggle 2, it has a patch in it's FOMOD for this mod, so now you can have your equipped helmet "off" and talk to people as if it's not equipped. (The mod lets you switch your helmet on and off, with an animation to go with it to simulate taking your helmet off without having to actually unequip it).
is their a mod to help organized all your modded in conversations options. Example: Vanilla responses on one tab, ostim/sexlab respondes on the next tab, addition immersive dialog on the 3rd tab.
This is an interesting idea and so I'm so glad to have this mod. I think it could really be fleshed out. It would be great to just add the options directly to the NPCs. Having to click the (Speechcraft) option first every time takes away the immersion a bit. It also needs a little more variety. You can be rejected from begging in many ways. People could laugh, scoff, or even tell you to look for a job. Then, there are all the dialogues towards the beggars in the game that could be clipped and utilized for PC. I think it could incorporate more variety to add to the realism a bit. Guards might arrest you and fine you. I think this could really be fleshed out if anyone is still modding.
No reason at all? Maybe the author accidentally edited it. Since he only makes a piece of gold (in a ruin?) as a persistent cell item, which takes up memory all the time instead of being loaded when the player is around.
Thank you for pointing this out. I was able to fix it in xEdit thanks to you. ♥
For those not aware, simply open the Immersive Speechcraft plugin in xEdit, click the dropdown button to expand it, find "Cell", right click it, and remove. You'll get a warning asking if you're sure, and you can safely proceed. Then save and close.
Seems using some of the dialogue options in this mod lower the disposition you have with an NPC. Would be good to know coming into it.
To be more precise: I asked Faregar to train me after doing his "salty" quest. I didn't actually have the gold, but his disposition with me dropped back to 0.
Once your repeated insults to an NPC (using the aforementioned mods) have changed the relationship rank to -2 (foe), then you can engage the NPC in a duel, with the final insult from this Immersive Speechcraft mod. Sounds (pun intended) neat, eh?
Not sure if this is a bug or intended feature but these options only come up once per npc. For example I can only say "Greetings" once to an npc and then the option never shows up again whenever I chat to them.
Turns out its not a bug, the options can only be used once in a bit so you cant spam any. The "Greetings" option returns in a min or two.

Tried it on a new game (1.5.97) nothing's overwriting it in xedit/left panel MO2, no helmet, dialogue not showing up.
It's a cool mod, will keep trying to get it working, appreciate your work on/hosting/supporting this mod.

Talking to people is one big mess.

though I don't like the "your mother is a horker" to initiate a fight. so i change it in "I challenge you to a duel".
Did ya wanna insult an NPC (like that loudmouth annoyance calling himself Nazeem)?
Hmmm....
