For those who would like a bit more information about installation:
-Any AOS, SoS, or Wet&Cold patches that you were previously using for either True Storms, ELFX, or both can be safely replaced by the patches provided here. This patch was created to completely merge both mods into one experience, so you can basically think of it as its own weather mod in need of its own patches. -You only need to have ONE of the available four versions loaded, meaning that you should not have both the main version and its respective Water Fix version loaded at the same time, just choose one or the other. The only real difference between these two versions is the fog levels, so if you like having lots of fog in all of your weathers, just stick to the main version. If you would like to tone down the fog levels in your weathers and you are bothered by the blocky water edges that can appear during foggy weathers, then I would definitely recommend using the Water Fix version. -You can actually use ELFX Weathers as its own standalone plugin if you don't also want to use the main ELFX lighting overhaul, for those that are really looking for the best performance option. Hope that helps! :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *ALSO* Just a friendly reminder that there is a bug section. It is 1,000 times easier for authors to fix and keep track of bugs and glitches when you post them in the bug report section, rather than in the comments, so if you find any strange visual glitches or places where the mod isn't working, please post it there instead of in the comments :) It would be greatly appreciated. If you do, please remember to mention what setup you have, which version you are using, and if you are using an ENB. Thank you!
Up to date for these versions of all related mods:
ELFX Weathers module - V3.06 True Storms SSE - V1.01 **Most likely will not update again anytime soon. Audio Overhaul SSE - V3.2.0 Sounds of Skyrim Complete SE - V1.6
**I do plan on keeping my patches up to date with the latest versions, but as I have quite a few to manage at this point, I would greatly appreciate any friendly reminders if it seems as though I missed an update :) Thank you!
**NOTE** Regarding the Wet&Cold compatibility patch:
For the sake of organization and my sanity I've moved all of the Wet and Cold compatibility options from all of my different patches onto their own page. They are still the exact same plugins, I just needed to make it easier to keep track of them for maintenance purposes, and I also didn't want to make you guys redownload such a small plugin every time I made an update to this patch. All you will need to do is redownload the plugin from the new page and use it as a standalone :) Sorry for the confusion!
I dont think this is working atm, rain still looks and feels pretty flat overall and the videos make it look like its meant to add alot more depth than it is
I think your plugin isnt activated in the plugins.Rerun Loot cause i can assure you the video isnt lying ,in my game looks exactly like that and it really changes the immersion in the game.
In my experience im using ELFX without the weathers esp,Vivid Weathers without the Summer or Winter esp and Truestorms.Only problem i got when once after removing some outfits from the game and rerun the autoloot in vortex in plugins got a message that Vivid is incompatible with truestorms.I just changed the loadorder so truestorm loads before vivid weathers and all works fine with Vivid weathers and Truestorms MCP added. And yes ,truestorm does hes job the rainy days are really darker and stronger like the vanilla and looks real as in real life.
help.. got this error when sorting with loot. I use the latest version of SoS 1.9.6 and enable the compatibility patch since this patch only cover SoS version 1.6. can anyone help me?
Getting a message in MO2 and LOOT that I'm missing the Master for SoundsofSkyrimComplete.ESP The file I have for SoSC is Sounds of Skyrim - Complete Edition.esp
Will this cause any problems in game? Is there a solution here?
it means you have to use the ones from tonycub who is mod author here. search on site for the 3 seperate SoS mods (civilization, wilds, dungeons) all 2 seperate there. and then you wont get that error message anymore
This is really such a great match with ELFX and True Storms! Thanks for creating this mod. I have tried out a lot of ENB and weather mods but this one is my favorite and you are so right, ELFX and True Storms seem made for each other. I highly recommend this mod, it has "redone" my game and it looks so much more atmospheric. Very easy to install and not a single glitch. Thanks again!
Thans for the patch. I don't know why ELFX is so underrated; I actually just installed Mythical Ages for my current run. While I love how Mythical Ages looks, its rain effects are terrible. ELFX's rain effects were amazing.
I actually came here to get a Mythical Ages True Storms patch because I wanted to get rid of the yucky Mythical Ages rain, but I also ended up here to get check for an ELFX patch.
So, to clarify- As long as I have this patch with its Sounds of Skyrim plugin enabled, I can ignore the warning that I don't have a compatibility patch from SoS in SSEDIT?
SoundsofSkyrimComplete.esp
You seem to be using Enhanced Lights and FX, but you have not enabled a compatibility patch for this mod. A compatibility patch is included with this plugin's installer.
You seem to be using ELFX - Hardcore, but you have not enabled a compatibility patch for this mod. A compatibility patch is included with this plugin's installer.

Only weather mods I have installed are TS and ELFX Weathers, might be time to switch to raid...
The file I have for SoSC is Sounds of Skyrim - Complete Edition.esp
