Im getting CTDs when I add the generated esp file to the load order. When I open in xEdit, the only thing that sticks out to me is that the generated esp does not contain the two Nord race records under Additional Races that the VR Body esp has. I'm playing a Nord and it only crashes when I attempt to load my game.
That's the same type of error I would expect if there were those keywords (or actually something else that was referencing nothing). Do you have version 1.1? If so, then the only thing I could think might work is running merge plugins' error repair function, since I've heard that removes those things.
Just giving you an update. A.) Thank you for posting this mod, B.) Thank you for responding so fast :)
So, it looks like this is on my end. I have a mega butt load number of mods and found out that skyrim sizes messed with this. I'm assuming it's due to the thing messing with the skeleton. Also, it just so happened that one of the mods for the skin I was using was broke in the first place. Therefore, I didn't see that this did patch multiple other armors I had. So, it is working, (I also was using the newer version) but I'll write a final update later just in case it helps others, but it seems to be working perfectly. Still have kinks to work out, but it seems to be on my end
okay, after hours of testing and balancing watching the dota 2 TI ;D I figured out some things. First, I could not get rid of the error GenVRBodyPatch line 171: [0607D01B] < Error: Could not be resolved >, but I don't care because my mods updated and I can see myself. At first, I got this mod working, but my hands were gone! it was so annoying and I couldn't figure it out. Eventually I guess and checked until I found out after reinstalling a hundred times that I had to take off all the vr body mod patches as this one takes care of everything for you. Except, I had to run the patch for immersive armours separately as for some reason that needed to be their.
I have way to many mods and too little care to spend another 100+ hours redownloading and testing everything, but this is what worked for me. I had to re apply the patch many times, reinstall many things, and this could be a unique thing just for me, but I finally have hands and working mods in the game. I've only found 1 mod that I can't get to load into the game and it's the demon hunter set (based on diablo 2)
other than that, it's working amazingly and I'm very happy
Billy encountered that problem last night as well. It seems to be caused by Survival Keywords being present, for example like in WAACF even though VR's version of Update.esm doesn't have have it. I'll see what I can do about it.
