This mod is for vanilla Skyrim, if you somehow modded the trees (I believe 98% already did this) I recommend you to install the absolutely impressive and awesome Dyndolod mod (no word can't describe how amazing DynDOLOD is, period).
DynDOLOD will fix all for you, new trees, new cities, new mountains, etc.
In my DynDOLOD setup I set the bright of the LODs to -4 (Advanced -> LOD brightness), with this you'll get the same result as my mod.
Hi. I just checked it out and that mod is not compatible. All related textures are completely different from the ones in my mod. I don't believe I will do a patch for it, since DynDOLOD makes it all now.
Was looking for a fix, found this mod, then the locked post. Hoping it'll fix the issue, probably will. It was my first night in my new playthrough and I noticed it. Reallllllllllyyyyy annnnooooyyyyiiiiiingggg. You'd think DynDOLOD would just... auto fix the bright trees automatically.
Thank you so much for this mod, it fixes those awful, glowing trees without any of the fuss of LOD gen tools. This + Fixed Mesh Lighting is the ultimate combo for vanilla foliage
man this mod is so goddamn amazing, sadly i cant use it it with the Skyrim bigger trees + realistic aspen trees duo, would be awsome if u could use this with them, that would make the definitive SSE tree combo. anyways endorsed! awsome job
I never liked the bigger trees. Initially without many mods bigger trees makes you feel more in the forest. Now I have Dark Forests, Forest of Skyrim from workshop, Forests of Skyrim Reach, Blubbos Trees on Mountains, Rorikstead Trees, Bent Pines, and The Marshlands so Simple Bigger Trees just seem silly. If you want to feel more in the forest make a forest not bigger trees. I know it is hard to let go of a mod you like but you may find you like this better than bigger trees. It is all opinion and I might be the odd one here. Most great mods are about 5% endorsments to downloads and you are at about 6% so congrats Xtudo.

Hope this helps!
Broken Aspen tree lod shows up everywhere with both installed.
Could have sworn I used these together in the past as they're both ol' reliables.
Any chance you'd look at a patch?

Understandable, however, I argue that mods like this and Skyrim Tree Lod are for those who do not want to use DynDOLOD.
Now my LODS arent so bright and noticeable.
Makes everything look better.
The mod is just one texture file, so it won't break anything.
