    First: Congratulations!

The texture looks fantastic on the mud variation. The mud itself... Well, I would love something with that texture but nearly white, like bleached bone. Just an idea.

I am slowly working on all of my mods lately to get stuff fixed and bringing out some major updates, like the next of this one: Dragon Carved K.E. All-in-one. My intention is to release a single .esp plugin with all the flavors inside so you will be able to craft pieces of different flavors and you only need to download one file from the list.
Unfortunately this process takes lot of time (and it is tedious) and even if i can consider in the future the idea of a new flavor, let's say "Bleached Bone"
like a direct antagonist of "Armored Basalt" don't expect this for now. I am a quite unstable modder so i just "create" when i want or i am interested in something. Lately i am not even turning on the pc so often. But maybe in the next months... Who knows ?

EDIT: Oh and, yeah, thanks for the feedback, i am glad you liked it.

How do you get the armor? Just activate the mod and it falls into your inventory?

Great mod. I know what my Argonian's going to wear now. Any chance of doing a silver finish with gold detail version?

    Hi,

First, I love this mod, the armor looks impressive,
But I wonder how did you get the images where you wear the helmet and krosis mask ?

Do you run a mod to be able to do this ?

    Thank you in advance =)

      Hi Zord, thanks!

If i remember well should be sufficient to use this: Circlets or Masks with all Robes and Hoods.

My dragon priest masks are considered as cloths and not armors. With this -> Open Dragon Priest Masks by Calyps - ODPM(select "All masks clothing ESP" from files).
But it is an old mod, you need to convert everything (meshes, esp...) to SSE. And since it is from 2013 you will probably need to fix some values in SSEdit.

      Thanks for the fast answer,

I was searching how to convert cause I just found out the mod.
A simple cleaning should be sufficient or do you think it will require more ?

Because I don't really want to break my game x)

Install these 2 mods and don't loot them yet.
Open SSEdit, select all the esp and when it finishes loading them right click on any esp and select "Apply filter to show Conflicts Losers". Then you should patiently check if USSEP or any other mod you have is somehow overwritten by these two i suggested to you.

If the new values are ok for you (they make sense) don't do anything. If you think they are wrong (for example they report a value from Skyrim.esm that was later corrected by USSEP) just drag and drop the right value from USSEP (or any other mod you consider " the right one") to the mod.

If it asks to you to add USSEP or any other mod as master, just click yes.

I hope you know how to mess with this kind of things. Because is pretty rare to find old mods that "just need to be cleaned".
Don't be so naive, it is never so easy.

But look at the bright side. If you become good with SSEdit you can pretty much convert and use any mod cause even in the worst case you can literally create a .esp from scratch and put inside it any value. It really saves you.

Man, I search all this time where could be the conflict and why the mask didn't appear after the installation of the mod.
Finally I found that it's just the installation via Nexus mod that didn't work because it didn't install the meshes.
So I just installed the mod manually and acivate it from the mods menu of skyrim and so far it worked perfectly !

Thanks agains for your advices ! =)

      Always:
      1) Manually download files
      2) Unzip the files, create a "Data" folder, put the mod files in there, right click on the "Data" folder created - > add to 7z file, name that file with a name with no spaces (like ModName.7z or Mod_Name.7z) and set all the compression to Ultra. Start the compression
      3) Install the mods in NMM only with drag an drop into NMM mods list
      4) Rightclick on just installed mod -> Activate

You will never have installation problems this way.

Never use the "Mod Manager Download" button on nexus mod pages. Really, we can discuss this for days. But why?
Just don't use that button. Save yourself frustration.

Bad, very bad essentially. That's why the mod is still in beta version.

      Ok, jokes apart...
      Spoiler:
      Show

Since i am not an expert at all, i have just edited the original textures (they are .dds files) with a free software called "paint.net" and used some of my rusty artistic skills, with a bit of imagination.
I have done some tests to see the result in game and changed the effects accordingly to my idea (more or less).
The use of color correction, various computer-generated digital filters (they work with mathematical algorithms, so you can create a repetitive pattern) and most of all distortions rendering helped me to get the job done... For now.
I have not touched the normal maps (the "_n.dds" files that regulate the "deepness" of a surface where the corresponding texture) cause i am still a noob in this sense and i have no idea how to work with them yet. Otherwise the armor would look way better trust me and the mod would not be still in beta (lol).

Be aware that the most "compatible" compression format, for what i know (and i don't know so much, so if i say something stupid correct me guys) now is DXT5 and paint.net lets you compress correctly in that one, giving you the possibility to use the texture both in Oldrim and in Skyrim Special Edition. The most "optimized" compression format for SSE is BC7 but to save the texture in this last one with paint.net you need to download a plugin. Problem is that, at least for what i know, when you save in BC7 you can't see the preview picture (thumbnail) while browsing the texture in windows explorer. And this is quite frustrating if you need to quickly browse textures. Let's say i have done some experiment with BC7 but i leave it to more serious modder for now, people that knows what they are doing and that release high quality-high resolution overhauls that really benefits from the optimization.
Like, catching one, the impressive High Hrothgar by Gorgulla.
The most negative side is probably that BC7 compressed textures can't be used in Oldrim (not retro-compatible).

For your information, i only have mouse and keyboard (no touch tablet or fancy pressure pens or professional stuff) so my textures will always look pretty lame, 'cause "that's how i roll".
And if you found my answer a bit too much verbose... Well is YOUR FAULT.
Be more specific next time. (Nah, i am joking, it's ok).

Congrats on the release my friend ! This mod is really looking good!

I'll have a better look tomorrow and I might even download it even if it's just to endorse it.
    Later!
