(or literally COMPLETELY ignorable if you use Sacrosanct and get Daywalker)
Features:
🌞 Daywalker Perk Reworked: Now Daywalker can actually block the sun damage from Sun Affects NPC Vampires and optionally will only work while Sated.
🐉 Dragon at Midnight Reworked: No longer instantly kills you but instead rapidly drains your health while caught directly exposed to the sun.
⌛ Adjusted Daylight Hours: Weakness to sunlight now actually kicks in when the sun is visible.
🌅 Mytherceria Integration: Supports sun damage from Sun Affects NPC Vampires and has been adjusted to fit with the adjusted daylight hours.
🦇 Support for Transformations: You will now suffer the effects of the sun no matter what form you're in.
🦖Jewelled Scales Integration: Makes this perk from Sacrosanct work on Sun Affects NPC Vampires.
🔥Hardcore Mode: Adjustable damage for Sun Affects NPC Vampires.
💭Support for YOT(Optional): You can choose the Your Own Thoughts options in the fomod to have it be consistent with that mod, also includes a small YOT patch for Sacrosanct Rebalanced and Tweaked in the optional files that could be used on it's own.
🥷Head Covering(Optional): Includes the same effect Sun Affects NPC Vampires has where you can block the wrath of the sun by simply putting a helmet, hood or hat over your head (a bit overpowered).
Sacrosanct Perks:
All perks from Sacrosanct relevant to sun damage have been made to work with Sun Affects NPC Vampires, this includes.
Daywalker - as previously mentioned will fully block all sun damage once acquired, this however kind of goes against the philosophy of this mod so there is an included and highly recommended rework option that will make this perk only function while Sated (recently fed).
Jewelled Scales - the Argonian racial ability that makes you immune to sun damage while swimming/shortly after swimming.
Mytherceria - which changes the daytime hours to make the night 1 hour longer in the morning and the day 1 hour shorter in the evening.
Dragon at Midnight - I found the perk Dragon at Midnight was cool in concept but counter-intuitive in execution, instantly killing the player if they're caught outside while Blood Starved didn't really allow for much gameplay beyond just sending the player back to their last save, now this perk will make it so you take an extra 20 damage per second while blood starved and caught directly by the sun, this effect will stack on-top of whatever difficulty option you choose. Now the player has an opportunity to do something about the fact that they're caught in a bad situation, maybe you start spamming healing potions so you can get to some shade, use Auriel's bow for once, rapidly hurry and try to drain a nearby enemy so you'll be protected from the wrath of the sun. Yippie for gameplay!
Sovereign of Shadows - This is the renamed version of Dragon at Midnight from Sacrosanct Rebalanced and Tweaked and has the exact same effect Dragon at midnight gets from this mod.
Adjusted Daytime:
When testing this mod I found that the parameters set for when a vampire's blood should boil in the sunlight were kind of ridiculous, in vanilla Skyrim the sun starts harming vampires at 5AM and ends at 7PM, Just for reference here is what that looked like for me.
This is 5 AM in Vanilla Skyrim and you can see the blur from the "Sun" boiling my vampiric blood is kicking in.

This is 7 PM in Vanilla Skyrim, the point where a vampire would stop being affected by the sun, even though the sky is still lit by it.

I found this to be rather silly so I adjusted it in my mod, here are the adjusted hours.
WITHOUT Mytherceria
Sun Damage begins at 6 AM
Sun Damage stops at 8 PM
WITH Mytherceria
Sun Damage Begins at 7 AM
Sun Damage Stops at 7 PM
Functionally this means a vampire with the perk Mytherceria will be able to witness the Sunrise and the Sunset without feeling the scorching wrath of the sun, how romantic.
Hardcore Mode:
Sun Affects NPC Vampires from jayserpa is a fantastic mod but once you reach an even semi high amount of health or regeneration the effect from this mod is pretty much negligible, I have increased the damage the sun does to encourage you to play around it
(The sun is supposed to be Tyrannical after all) Here are the new values and options.
Mild:
1 Damage per second while Sated
2 Damage per second while Thirsty
3 Damage per second while Parched
4 Damage per second while Blood Starved
Spicy: [Default Option]
2 Damage per second while Sated
4 Damage per second while Thirsty
6 Damage per second while Parched
8 Damage per second while Blood Starved
Tyranny:
4 Damage per second while Sated
8 Damage per second while Thirsty
12 Damage per second while Parched
16 Damage per second while Blood Starved
Transformations:
By default in Sun Affects NPC Vampires the player character would be immune to the sun damage from the mod if they transformed into a Vampire Lord, which is kind of silly so I fixed that and also made sure that as long as you're a vampire the sun damage would tick no matter what form you're in.
This includes if you're a werewolf/vampire hybrid in beast form with Curse of the Dragonborn or even if you're a vampire/lich from Undeath which can be achieved by using Prelude to Purgatory and/or Undeath Classical Lichdom - The Ascension (Lite) though I'd recommend Prelude to Ascension - compatibility patch if you want to use both, and if you combine all of them you could be a WereLichPyre capable of enjoying the horrific Tyranny of the Sun. This should also theoretically support any other kind of transformation but I have not tested it.

Attention Vampires of all shapes and sizes—now you too can bask in the merciless embrace of the sun!
Some Notes:
Since both my mod and Sun Affects NPC Vampires check for light levels in the condition your character might start burning though they're not strictly getting hit by the beams of the sun, this includes if they're in an environment that is just dark enough to not trigger the sunlight but then they step near a Brazier or start casting spells that might raise the light level
This mod makes the most sense if you Enable Regen in Shadows in the Sacrosanct MCM.
This is my first mod so I would really appreciate any feedback for what is working and what is not in any of the options I have provided, there are a lot of options and I would be very surprised if all the plugins work flawlessly for everyone.
Also if you like any one specific part of the mod but not the whole package you could let me know in the comments so I can make it an optional download.
Compatibility:
Included patch for A Tale of Blood and Snow
This mod shouldn't conflict with any mods that Sacrosanct doesn't conflict with, which are mainly other big vampire overhauls you shouldn't be running alongside Sacrosanct anyway
if you're running some other mod that tweaks Sacrosanct
(specifically in regards to the sun)
my mod might be incompatible but I could possibly make a patch in that case.
Requirements:
Sacrosanct - Vampires of Skyrim
Sun Affects NPC Vampires
Sacrosanct Rebalanced and Tweaked [Not strictly required but Highly recommended]
Installation and Load Order:
Install and activate Sacrosanct and Sun Affects NPC Vampires, then install my mod and make sure my plugins are placed lower than them in your load order
e.g.
Sacrosanct - Vampires of Skyrim.esp
SacrosanctTweaks.esp (if you have it)
SunAffectsNPCVampires.esp
SunAffectsNPCVampires - ExcludeFriendlies.esp (if you have it)
Tyranny - Example.esp
And so forth
