About this mod
Crush the soul gems you don't need and smelt them into the ones you do! This mod adds 'Soul Salts' as a craftable ingredient used to disassemble and reassemble soul gems, and shards. Soul Salts also have attributes and can be used just like other ingredients. There are even recipes for those pesky shards you find in various places.

Soul Salts - A Soulgem Mod!
Ever wanted to turn those small soul gems into big ones? Yeah me too, so I made this mod. The main feature of this mod is the new ingredient that you craft with existing soul gems or shards: Soul Salts. Soul Salts can be used to make new soul gems, or you can use them to make powerful potions. You need to have the arcane blacksmith perk before you can craft the gems at a smelter, but there are no restrictions on grinding the gems up.
The new ingredient is also cleanly added to leveled lists such that the soul salts will show up anywhere you could find a rare alchemy ingredient, be it vendors or on dead enemies, chests, ect.

Note: Weightless variants only affect the Soul Salts, and are available for Vanilla, Lore-Friendly, and Nerfed Salts.

The next update will include a fomod with weightless soul salts varients, a version without the black soul gem crafting recipes (lore friendly), and anything else I think of in the meantime. I'm not sure when I'll be getting around to completing that, but hopefully within the month at least. The mod as it is is fully featured and works flawlessly to my knowledge. - Done
Compatability:
This mod should be compatible with every other mod. I know I use several other soul gem mods and it works fine with them.
Also nothing in the base game is changed, so for something to be incompatible there would have to be something pretty bad

Acquisitive Soul Gems Multithreaded by eyeonus, simply a must-have. Makes my mod a little obsolete as far as removing souls, but still.
Rupture and Craft Soul Gems at Smelter also by eyeonus, does pretty much what my mod does, but if you think mine does it in a bad way, I encourage you to check his mod out instead.
